Indonesia's Krakatoa volcano has erupted - this volcano was asleep for 137 years and woke up again today. The Krakatoa volcano has just erupted in Indonesia, that volcano in 1883 had killed 36 thousand people and altered the climate of Europe for several years. With this the Ring of fire could be activated.

World-famous Krakatoa volcano Anak Krakatau has erupted in Indonesia, emitting an enormous plume of ash, smoke and lava into the sky.

The volcanic island is currently reporting episodes of "large magmatic eruption", meaning that the volcano is continuing to produce magma and lava, as well as sending ash into the air in a cloud as high as 15km.

I think it's anak Krakatoa. Not the original. Also it has shrunken in size. Will not be as deadly as it was in 2018 when it triggered a tsunami

Bro, the real Krakatoa volcano has already been destroyed when it was erupted in 1883. This volcano is anak Krakatau or Krakatoa Kid. Anak means Kid in English. This new volcano is emerged after the real Krakatoa erupted and self destroyed. This Anak Krakatau has always been active and last year it has erupted more then 100 times.

This is the news about its eruption last year.

Lo bhai dunya khatam ho rai hai. Mera $1200 stimulus check still isn't here.

The biggest eruption ever happen on earth was also happening in Indonesia around 70.000 years ago. The destruction even make a hole that later become a big lake.

Lake Toba, Indonesia

Lake Toba (Indonesian: Danau Toba) is a large natural lake in Sumatra, Indonesia occupying the caldera of a supervolcano. The lake is located in the middle of the northern part of the island of Sumatra, with a surface elevation of about 900 metres (2,953 ft), the lake stretches from 2.88°N 98.52°E to 2.35°N 99.1°E. The lake is about 100 kilometres (62 miles) long, 30 kilometres (19 mi) wide, and up to 505 metres (1,657 ft) deep. It is the largest lake in Indonesia and the largest volcanic lake in the world.[1] Lake Toba Caldera is one of the nineteen Geoparks in Indonesia,[2] which is proposed to be included in the UNESCO Global Geopark.[3][4]

Lake Toba is the site of a supervolcanic eruption estimated at VEI 8 that occurred 69,000 to 77,000 years ago,[5][6][7] representing a climate-changing event. Recent advances in dating methods suggest a more accurate identification of 74,000 years ago as the date.[8] It is the largest-known explosive eruption on Earth in the last 25 million years. According to the Toba catastrophe theory, it had global consequences for human populations; it killed most humans living at that time and is believed to have created a population bottleneck in central east Africa and India, which affects the genetic make-up of the human worldwide population to the present.[9]

It has been accepted that the eruption of Toba led to a volcanic winter with a worldwide decrease in temperature between 3 to 5 °C (5.4 to 9.0 °F), and up to 15 °C (27 °F) in higher latitudes. Additional studies in Lake Malawi in East Africa show significant amounts of ash being deposited from the Toba eruptions, even at that great distance, but little indication of a significant climatic effect in East Africa

@HafizSaeed

Mother earth is almost done with her flu, lol.
At one side, humans are suffering, But the planet surely is getting beautiful, Balance coming back, When things get out of control, Allah has engineered nature to automatically self correct.

Viruses are also wonder of nature, no scientist has ever figured out what caused them to come to existence

Sometimes a crazy idea hits my mind. Bring that rich soil, and sprinkle that on our depleted soil. I am crazy I know .....

Even though Anak Krakatau eruption is quite a lot, it is not endangering local people since the location is in the sea and quite far from the nearest village. It is so far (after mega eruption in 1883) only cause death when the eruption in 2018 destroy large part of the volcano body and cause tsunami.

This is it look like from the nearest beach before 2018 eruption that destroy large part of the mountain body.

@dani92 it is the possible cause of the extinction of dinosaurus and hominid (primitive human). Prophet Adam and his wife (our mother) comes after those creatures have been wiped out from the earth by God. @ArabianEmpires&Caliphates

Volcano ashes is good for soil, it is why Java island soil is so fertile. There are also many good beach around that place. Anyer beach is one of the favorite of Jakartan people who want to enjoy beach and swimming on the sea. The location is not far from the mountain. You can see on the picture how calm is the sea wave, a perfect place for swimming in the sea.

Any way, are you not tired trolling many Chinese here :D

I miss one of the best Vietnamese poster here @William Hung. You guys have a solid team in the past with him, Viet, @Carlosa and @BoQ77
