Giant statue in India to honour an Ancient Pakistani from Swat (123 ft or 37.5 metres high)

He was 8th ce Buddhist master a.k.a Guru Rinpoche,
How are you sure he looked like that.

any thing they sculpt for you, you will take it as your heritage?
and there is no compliance in regards to heritage you take it or leave it ..it can be useful, precious or utterly useless..the choice is yours..

Pashupati Seal...but that doesnot prove anything...First proper EXACT mention of meditation is in the Buddhist Suttas when Buddha learns from (Hindu) Samkhya Philosophy Sages Uddaka Ramaputta and Alara Kalama

Their meditation techniques led to the attainment of infinite nothingness and the realm of neither perception nor non perception

The allusion towards meditation is already in the Rig Veda (the Sukta after Nasadiya) as well as the early pre-Buddhist Upanishads....but nothing concrete
I feel that people of the Indus valley might have migrated towards the present day Ganga basin. That's my theory. I'm not sure. Which means meditation was established by people of present day India and not present day Pakistan.

Like i said earlier, Are Gujjar Turks or Arabs? Jatts? Rajputs? Sheikh?
Our genome mapping tells us about our ancestors whether we like it or not.

People like you should emigrate to India and leave us alone. Enough of this aman ki tamasha.

So? Wasn't Buddhism also concocted in the heart of India?
India in its current form was never a country before the arrival of the British.
The British are the founding fathers of current India.
Before it was an area comprising of various independent kingdoms ,beach with own culture and boundaries and plenty of wars in between.

You just munch at your vara pao thyala and stop passing judgements over Indus folks

No country was...There is not a single country that has exactly the same borders since eternity

What is 'thyala' though? And I'm correct. Looking at current Indus valley people, I stress again, it's very unlikely that yoga, meditation was first established in Indus valley. These things naturally belong to present day India.

this is exactly how vedic religions turned into contemporary hinduism. over long chain they screwed the original thing...same is the case here in regards to this statue..

They are not Gods:enjoy:
All Hindu gods , well at least the main ones , are of white skin and Caucasian or Central Asian features, meaning they were not from current india but foreign kings and queens who strengthened their position by portraying themselves as god's.
