India already has stopped buying jets without technology transfer. All jets bought by India in the last 20 years are only with technology transfer including Su30 and Rafale.

Rafale deal has zero ToT.

Good news. But when was the Teja project started and when it IAF finally induct it? It took way too long.
According to the tweet i quoted , it will take another 8 years for the 83 Tejas to be inducted in IAF.
The first Prototype flew in 2001, by 2028, it will be a 27 year old project.
