The curious case of UAE statement

You may need to work with the choice of wording in regard to members of this Forum and not to forget that you are also one of us.

Secondly, the source is Gulfnews and quoting UAE Ambassador. I haven't searched for any other source but it is in-fact for the UAE Government to take note if the statement is wrongly quoted or fabricated to any extent as compare to statement issued by UAE foreign office. That is the main concern.
Actually for once I agree with @BATMAN we are being emotional about a personal opinion of an ambassador! It was neither a press release nor an official statement with a logo! india paraded it and we got hurt....started insulting Arabs...

if this was a test we failed miserably!

If this was a play by india we got played!

already answered to you before. Isn't it?

He commented that from his understanding the reorganisation of states is not a unique incident in the history of independent India and that it was mainly aimed at reducing regional disparity and improving efficiency. He viewed this latest decision related to the state of Jammu and Kashmir as an internal matter as stipulated by the Indian Constitution.

The indian news paper broke no laws nor manipulated...they wrote HE said HIS view...they never said UAE....so UAE cant press the indian media for playing with us..Again our fault for being played and blaming on others!

Who is blaming Pakistan? For our doings we need to definitely own it!

Either I am too short with statements or may be rush of too many subjects made it hard to understand what I said. Whenever UAE or KSA does so, like that alleged statement, it is the fashion to blame Pakistan for such treatment because we denied to go to Yemen. That was the point I made clear before and then as you said, Pakistan plays the card well by not involving directly but still made a lot of efforts to discourage houthi thing and that is all on official level which I mentioned earlier. So a statement versus statement is all what it deserved and as there are lot of parties keeping close eye on Pakistan & Gulf relations and that UAE Ambassador did was disappointing.

The ministry did issue the statement I pointed!

The indian ambassador's opinion being aired as official is not official...we read the headlines and get emotional...we didnt read the lines...HE SAID HIS understanding are the key words!

There's nothing against Pakistan in the statement, which appears more out of context.
However, if some one in GoP believes otherwise, than it should be taken up at official level!
Why all the storm is limited to this forum and simmering ever since.

Regarding Gulf News it's a privately owned news agency and they have loads of foreign staff, they have sales and following of among Indians.
I totally brand this news as editor's skills, just to please some one. I see nothing official here!
We should also consider, how other news reported that instance, at least one more!

At the same time, we all know GCC do not believe in interfering in constitutional matters of any foreign state. Neither they expect others to interfere in their constitutional affairs.

I don't see that like your way but however, let's wait further.

Well for the time being, the storm may remain on the Forum. I don't have much trust into certain news agencies especially where people like Taha Siddiqi are the writers and WION has investment. However, as the same made it to Forum hence, discussion with every possibility. Unfortunately, it was about statement of adviser to Iran's supreme leader but somehow turned out to be UAE Ambassador alleged quoted statement which seems to be some kind of comparison or like that.

The indian ambassador's opinion being aired as official is not official...we read the headlines and get emotional...we didnt read the lines...HE SAID HIS understanding are the key words!

I have red colored those key words... but the more key thing being missed is that the context of quoted statement is missing.
Looks like some one was probably asking questions.... example: if UAE think Indian constitution is wrong. What minister replied is posted in news!
Clearly some people are just blinded with bias and are clutching on to the straws!

Man--- Kashmir is not Indian constitutional matter and GCC does know what UNSC has to say about that.

Sorry to say that one can't believe into what could have been the possibility but people discusses what is written and that is it. Calling it bias is unfair and not everyone hates GCC so they will be biased to think like that. Why to provoke people like this and surely make them to hate just because you are calling them bias?

Dear Pakistanis

We saw india aired a statement and claiming UAE sided them and like little sheep we started hating UAE:

The UAE has taken note of the Indian government’s decision of non-operationalisation of some sections of Article 370 of the Indian Constitution related to the state of Jammu and Kashmir, said Dr Ahmad Al Banna, the UAE ambassador to India.

Dr Al Banna added: “We also took note of the introduction of Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Bill in the Indian Parliament aimed at replacing Article 370 with the creation of Ladakh region and the state of Jammu and Kashmir as India’s two new Union Territories.”

He commented that from his understanding the reorganisation of states is not a unique incident in the history of independent India and that it was mainly aimed at reducing regional disparity and improving efficiency.
