Best way to combat spam/troll/duplicate IDs

Hi,

First 15 posts by new member should be moderated. Appoint 2 new MODs, Just for this purpose of 'approving' first 15 posts by new members, no other privilage. It can help alleviate the influx of spam/troll/duplicate IDs.

Also for God's sake, we want new forum skin for widescreen monitors, lotsa of space on side bars go wasted, I hate scrolling. I am suffering from Carpal Tunnel. It makes sense its defence forum, people post lengthy articles, so why waste space then ?

Well I am using a 19" wide screen monitor and i am no such issue of empty space on the side bars.

If you are using Windows, press Clrt and then + or - sign buttons, it will enlarge or do the opposite with the web page side ways and get it set as per your liking, no scrolling then needed sideways, just vertical scrolling then.

PDF's default skin size is too small i agree, but like Taimi Khan said.... Zoom it... I have been using by zooming in and its working great for me

Zooming makes the font go blur. Better to have wide-screen support, if possible.

Issue is not skin fonts/size or DPi.

and Zooming is not a solution cuz it will only 'increase' need to scroll more.

More text will fit in less space if we get rid of side bars, Will result in less vertical scroll. Its 33% space wasted right now.

1) Can't keep it moderated simply given the enormity of this forum and the number of posts even by new members

2) Try out all the skins, something would suit you.

Some forums I have visited they dont accecpt posts by a new member for atleast fifteen days..so if someone had the urge to troll over a hot topic discovered from google search they will atleast end up waiting 15 days. During that time the topic heat my die or thread may get locked

Hot topics appearing in google search are the biggest troll magnet.!

If the management ever decided to create a new skin...... please go for a lighter skin this time......sometimes bright

I am sure that day isn't gonnai come soon as who knows when you ultimately decide to move to VB 4 in the future~
