Really not liking the Spartan in the middle, we have plenty of legendary warriors and martial history to draw inspiration from. That patch looks like a childish version of the USAF 867th Attack Squadron Spartan patch:

Making the CCS F-16 squadron a numbered Unit instead of the old CCS F-16 Sqn.

Just wondering if it will actually become a full strength squadron.
