As per SC orders the broadcast of all such channels which do not have landing rights have been stopped.

Now one has to check what are landing rights. Rest cable operators are showing Indian movies, songs and some crap dubbed movies too

These stupid Star plus, zee tv and NDTV are really damaging our family fabric. with women having nothing to do glued to these sick family fed serials all day. good move.

Even in family meeting, parties women discuss dramas. What happened, what will happen. Thank God :yahoo:

no problems...if other such entertainment programs are not broadcasted in Pakistn as a replacement..then this ban wont last long.

Even if it lasts..no big deal to us .Enjoy.

How can this be a big deal to you??? Are you a channel owner?:what:

We will take our time to get used to it... but in the long run, I think our society won't be improving if we watch people backstabbing each other on T.V.

I know [muslim] indians who tell us that these dramas don't reflect indian lifestyle... correct me if I'm wrong

:D actually Grounder is right no big deal because there is a big fan following of the crap found in India.

On the other hand cable operators here will start protest soon as their business will see a dip

If the world was one of those dramas, we would see headlines like "Daughter in law deprives mother in law of visits to her son " in the local newspaper.
