The USA only intervenes knowing the suicidal tendency of Pakistani nukes. If nukes are not there, they won't give a damn.
And building a conventional superiority to India would require at least 10-20 times more resources than building nukes.

A single nuke can kill millions. Do you know how much conventional ammunition you need to do the same level of killings?

bhai ... do you really think we would go for a full scale war with india ?? and who is talking about gaining superiorty over India in Conventional weapons , but adding some 100+ f-16 blk 52 , or maybe some F-15s ' along with Ex US naval ships can make sure that india will not attack us ...

Because US will always need a hedge against India becoming too big.

They want an India to be just the right amount of powerful - enough to deter China, not enough to assert itself globally. Pakistan is a god send for that goal if Pakistan is boosted externally. Earlier US used Pakistan for this purpose, now China uses it.

And since India is rising steadily, US will like nothing more than to have an India that is in a South Asian straitjacket with the occasional force needed to remind China that they cant steamroll everyone.

Or the case should be that Russia, China and India ever start forming strong alliances - it would be extremely worrying for the US.

why you think Iran will sit on US lap ? after working decades on their Nuclear program , they wont let it go just like that ...

Alright, fair enough. But what if that check is provided by China in general? Keeping India under a mirror of its "Tea Party" ideals only helps the US make sure India takes decisions where its immediate business lies and not what may benefit the nation 10-20 years down the line. Eventually, MNCs moving most of Indian foreign policy may end up being the reality of American influence on India.

i know that ... that is why i mentioned in OP that , on condition of economic corridor , more trade and any possible help in putting our economy back to its feet ... better economy means more $$$ and more weapons ..
a lot of amount of our Armed forces budget go to our Strategic command forces , which is for now close to useless ..

Doesnt take long to take you there.
US military and civilian aid starts flowing in and Pakistan will be putting up 8% growth rate for over a decade consistently. That has always been the key for Pakistani dictators to boost the economy to compete with India.

You feel Pakistan is not capable of doing the work of Germany for US, but empirical evidence of Pakistan itself suggests otherwise. You can if you need external support.

No more Umbrellas of any Super Power, we lost East Pakistan while we where in Super Power's Umbrella. Pakistan should strengthen its own economy and defense, self reliance should be our aim and objective, we have to reduce foreign assistance and purchases of weapons step by step and bring it to minimum.
