Why is INDIA so Dirty?

Certainly they're no better than Dhaka

Compare with another superpower like yours, as your ilk claim. :-)

Bangladesh is not something to be compared with.

While this is one of the reasons, it cannot hold true for long. It is not difficult to adapt to modern ways, as we can see villagers have no issue getting used to mobile phones, driving vehicles etc. Moreover, people whose families have been staying in urban areas for generations are also guilty of this.

We are also lazy and right from childhood we have seen maids cleaning up. We want someone else to clean up, under the assumption that they are being paid for it so I have no responsibility. This laziness can be seen in many aspects of life. We want doorstep delivery of everything, we will stop our vehicle right in front of the shop and cause a traffic jam.
only if you are rich

Even lower middle class families in India can afford maids. Labour is cheap. In small towns even cheaper. It's shocking how poorly paid labour is in small town India. But that's for another thread.

No one does THIS in Dhaka:

As everyone already said, it is CULTURE. India's economic growth is making no difference to Indians' behavior. A few clean streets in Gurugram (maintained for optics) in a country the size of a continent means nothing.

People using at least basic sanitation services (% of population)

India: 71%
Bangladesh: 54%

Dhaka officially has 122 public toilets, but in reality, many of them are not functional or being used for other purposes. Most cafes or food courts do not own toilet facilities in Dhaka city which makes matters worse. For its 20 million citizens this is insufficient, and when there is no other option, the men usually relieve themselves on open spaces. For women, that is not an option. People who are always on the road (drivers or rickshaw pullers) are often left without an option as they must keep track of their vehicles. Others cities like Chittagong have similar problems. With a population of over 2.5 million, it has 43 public toilets with not a single toilet for females. Most Bangladeshis are not acquainted with high commodes or sitting toilets though they are needed for disability access.

I don't trust the Modiji supplied data though. It's as fake as the Indian Covid death count.

Bro stay away from flamebait threads like this, started by covid-grast wumao or our racially superior neighbors. And I see liberal pacifists self hating here which is very cringe. Especially in front of such paragons of hygiene as the above mentioned. Thanks but no thanks. Haan hum bahar baith ke jahir sabha tatti karte hain. Aao soongh lo hamara.

We still hope that Indians can learn the common sense of our modern civilization!

Even India is the poorest, backward and hungriest country in the world.

India teaches us one important lesson that money is of no use if you don't have brains. They do have a lot of money with all the billionaires and expensive military while still competing with bottom countries in some areas.

This much money in the hands of a more capable country can turn the fate of its people. Cleaning up would be the first thing to do. Food would be another but these things don't matter there.
A vlogger on Youtube once showed the most expensive house in the worlds most expensive city (Mumbai) but the neighbourhood still looked sort of a slum by western standards.

More than 415 million people have been lifted out of poverty in India in the last 15 years, out of which more than 140 million people exited poverty in the country just in the last five years, says the Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) report released by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) .

Don't you tire of comparing us to your 4th world country which is officially poorer than us?

Stop with all the cherry-picked pictures and propaganda and go improve things, your country needs improving.

DO YOUR HOMEWORK INSTEAD OF SHAMELESSLY COMING BACK AGAIN AND AGAIN !!
