Where Hindus join Shias to mourn Imam Hussain.

Not sure this is completely accurate. Bhumihar Brahmins are thought as of warrior Brahmins in UP and Bihar as a subcaste of Mohyal Brahmins who took up arms whom are from Punjab, Rajasthan and J&K. They're also famously known for their tradition as sending their first male child under the Khalsa panth. However the Husseini Brahmins are also a subgroup of Bhumihars whom may have intermarried with the locals during the battle of Karbala as a very small contingent that had fought alongside with Imam Hussein and his men.

Nonetheless it is wonderful to see that Imam Hussein is greatly revered by the Bhumihars, as one of their own.

It is a fact few non Muslims sacrificed their lives for prophet,s PABA family , in Karbala. it is possible their forefathers were there if not , May Allah bless them for the love of last Prophet,s family. Amin

hassana being a sadat i know who fought for us. The one you are talking about were those who were on side of Yazid and at the last moment saw the light and came to Imam Hussain (RA). Hur is one of them.

Here the main point of rejection is the claim of these Indian Hindus where they say they are linage of the Prophet (PBUH).

i myself have participated into numerous muharram juloos. we used to enact battle of karbala and shahadat of imamam hussain. reason is simple the story of imamam hussian is very touchy and his supreme sacrifice touches heart across reliogious lines. its a bit difficult for" Pures " to understand it but one can always try.

May u and your family be blessed for the love of Imam,s family , his scarifies is supreme . May u have a blessed life.

I am also Syed.

Which family are you from?

punit the non-Pure seems to have lack of comprehension that the Pure are challanging your false claims and NOT your mourning.

which claim. non muslims mourning for imama hussain ?
religious coexistence is india?
people of different faith celebrating festivals together ?
possibilities of Hindus siding with imam hussian in battle of karbala.
which one u want to dispute? be more specific my acid-purified friends.

Ya Hussain! :)

It never hurts to participate in other religious functions to invoke peace and tranquility.

I praised them for their religious harmony in this case. I only dispute their linage claim which is all false, an utter lie.
