Vietnam to build 600 million USD space centre

Yeah, Tiananman Chinese killer now talking about humanitarian affairs and just maybe only.

Say the ones still living in the 1980's? The west still views you as commies remember and to them commies means one thing "evil" meaning not to be trusted. You think America will let you join them on their own mission to world peace? Let me give you a better picture. America is seeing commies fighting with commies = Vietnam sacrificing and one less commie for them to deal with in the future

But you don't have Scalar ray for military satellite yet , and it will take quite a long time to develope it.

When you have some idea about this ray, maybe VN can manufacture a satellite fit with Scalar ray and shoot down all of your satellites and space shuttles to 'Save the World 'already.

Gosh, we heard of this concept decade ago.

Too bad China is going to be the first one to master over this technology even before the US.

Hehe...We can not bcz we don't have Money , but with Japan help , our space station will not fall behind too far bcz we have More space experience than you in he past

Fact is still behind very far and will only get futher. I hope Japanese space launches were as successful as Chinas. Good luck on it bros.

Hehe...we don't hear anything about CHina scalar wave untill now when USSR already showed it during VN war already .So come back and brag after you have some improvement on it

We don't have it then but we have better now, moreover a much much more superior version meanwhile Vietnam is still thinking that scalar weapon is the best thing! You look silly bragging about yesterdays technology bro

Sorry , CHina fall behind for too long during Cold war already , Russia- USA will help VN to go back to Glory in Space programe , when CHina will get stuck on Earth forever bcz Russia-USa will shoot down your military satellite when in too dangerous

Vietnam never had glory in space programes to begin with :azn:
What America, China and Russia have all achieved so far, Vietnam still not grasp any real understanding or experience of. You can tell me more about it when Vietnam actually gets any help and if they manages to actually send a person into space by themselves. Russia, America and China will all shoot down your satellites because it may contain faulty scalar weapons that may damage satellites from all parties

China's version of Scalar Ray is called the Death Ray.

And we had started this project back in the 1960s.

We don't have to tell people everything. Sometimes they are ignorant to think that we have none and to see their reactions when we miraculously have them is fun! Heck we have Quantum Teleportation too. Star Trek anyone? ;)

Yep, the big shrimps already briefly mentioned of this technology, it is definitely existent in the lab, but we won't probably see it for a while. :coffee:

It'll be interesting to see what becomes of it. Guess we will have to wait and see. It was a great feat though.

You know, the leaked information from those shrimps sometimes sounds really crazy, it is almost like the Star Trek.

However, consider of their reputation, which has been mostly proved to be right, is definitely worthy to believe it.

BTW, it seems that China still wants to be low-profile for at least 5-10 years.

China's way of doing things are very different. We do not show the world everything and when we do announce it, chances are we have already moved on to something far more significant especially in the dark technology fields.

Do you think Vietnam will do difference way?

Hehe , we have VINASAT satellite with the great help from US already, and it seems the best satellite in ASEAN , and maybe this time, we will colaborate with Rusiia-USA-Japan to restart 'Star wars' to kick CHina off the Space
Dedicated satellite for Vietnam

The Ariane 5 launches from the Guianese Space Centre in Kourou
Vietnam has taken a major step into the space age with the launch of its first telecommunications satellite.
The VINASAT-1 was put into orbit by an Ariane 5 rocket, flying from Europe's Kourou spaceport in French Guiana.
The spacecraft is part of a government strategy to help improve access to TV and telephony services for Vietnam's rural population.
Ariane also lofted the Star One C2, a telecommunications satellite for Brazil, on the same flight.
The 2,600kg VINASAT-1 was built by US manufacturer Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems for Vietnam's Post & Telecommunications Group (VNPT).
VNPT's director, Long Tran Pham, told Reuters: "More than 70% of our country consists of forests and mountains so it is very important to have satellites to deliver telecommunications to populations living in these zones.
"People already receive television by other satellites that we lease, but now we have our own satellite."
VINASAT-1 will sit 36,000km above the Indonesia-Papua New Guinea border. Its "footprint" will span parts of Japan, Australia and Burma.
It is hoped some of the spare capacity on the spacecraft can be sold to neighbouring countries.
Quoted by AFP, VNPT vice president, Lam Hoang Vinh, said: "Other countries, like Thailand and Singapore, have already contacted us.

Hehe...show it if you have , don't just hide it the pocket and brag

So what the meaning of the joint USSR-Vietnam Space program ?? oh...maybe CHina fall behind in space programe for too long , so you can not understand it

Hehe...USA hate you now, Russia is our Master , so they will shoot your military satellite, not our , and if they don't wanna shoot , they will support VN to 'Save the World ' from Evil :P

Definitely, something like J-20 is not our uncharted domain of technology, but rather it is something already pretty mature.

Because we already started the research of the stealth fighter back in 30-40 years ago.

So by saying that we were copying the Mig 1.44 or F-117 is something really ignorant and irresponsible.

Hehe , we have VINASAT satellite with the great help from US already

Yep great help indeed. Built by U.S. and launched by U.S. Talk about it with us when you are self sufficient enough to do it by yourselves. Safe the bragging bro, it does not look good. It's like a kid telling his father he has more money than him

and it seems the best satellite in ASEAN

Don't really care, We have our own space programs to attend to.

and maybe this time, we will colaborate with Rusiia-USA-Japan to restart 'Star wars' to kick CHina off the ground

Russia and U.S and Japan with Vietnam? Sure thing. Tell us more when you see that dream of yours materialize ;)

Hehe...show it if you have , don't just hide it the pocket and brag

There is no reason to, we don't like to brag. But we like to dismantle your dreams when you start bragging

So what the meaning of the joint USSR-Vietnam Space program ?? oh...maybe CHina fall behind in space programe for too long , so you can not understand it

It means more glory for USSR but little to Vietnam. Where did that experience lead Vietnam to? USSR and now Russia continued to progress with their space programs meanwhile all you have to say is "Our glory in Space back in the 80's when USSR was still around". :disagree:

Hehe...USA hate you now, Russia is our Master , so they will shoot your military satellite, not our , and if they don't wanna shoot , they will support VN to fullfill this duty:P

USA hate but they can do little. If you are not used to being hated, then that is a good thing. As they all say "ignorance is a bliss", you've clearly not experienced enough of what it is like to be in power and in the driving seat. Russia is a partner and so is the U.S. but it is nice to see that both can be classified as your masters

Wish you best of luck to vietnam .Hope our govt sign some space related deal..
