Of course there is no replacement to china , other nations can be cheaper but not as efficient as china. Vietnam can be better in 10-15 years but at that time china will leapfrog ahead.

and lets be honest india will never become a manufacturing hub , precisely because their govt are too corrupt , their education nonexistent due to endless cheating , massive bribes in law enforcement and justice system , decaying infrastructure , no employment for young people and the culture of scamming ppl.

india will be the primary low labourer supplier to gulf nations and probably israel (if they can tolerate having indians in their midst , even the tolerant canadian already angry due to indian people living there and act like petulant baby)

there is no future of india in manufacturing and tech , it will be dragged down by their own mess of overpopulation and ancient tribal system that will explode into massive civil war in the future.

If Vietnam has a population of 1 billion, then Vietnam does have the ability to replace China. But Vietnam has only 90 million people.

As for India, even if India is the most populous country, it is not capable of replacing China.
