Vietnam to build 600 million USD space centre

If the government did that, MMS and Antony would have to kill Sonia and Raul

Let's take this up else where. This thread is for congratulating our Vietnamese friends on their ambitious and wonderful plan.

Nothing to be excited about this assembly workshop. Yes, it is nothing but a centre to assemble a satelitte, no manufacturing of components here. Japan would be the last one in the world to transfer out any of their hi-technologies.

This project is a result of ODA loan sponsored by Japan. Japan will provide all the equipment and components for Viet Nam to do the assembly work, nothing more than that.

To tell you guys the truth, I get really tired of seeing Viet Nam doing business with the Japanese; they offer us nothing other than selling us the entire products while refusing to transfer any technology back to us to do our own manufacturing.

I would rather have picked the Korean to be our business partner than the Japanese. At least the Korean were willing to tranfer technology to produce UAV & cruise missiles win the nuclear contract in UAE. We pick Japan and we get nothing.
We are Not US allies , it's not Easy to any US allies like S.Korea-Japan to transfer tachnology to us without US permission. DO you see Japan or Korea tranfer any space technology to CHina ??

Do Japan and Korea have space technology?who transfer space technology to who?

Yep, Japan has
On October 1, 2003, three organizations were merged to form the new JAXA: Japan's Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (or ISAS), the National Aerospace Laboratory of Japan (NAL), and National Space Development Agency of Japan (NASDA).
Before the merger, ISAS was responsible for space and planetary research, while NAL was focused on aviation research. NASDA, which was founded on October 1, 1969, had developed rockets, satellites, and also built the Japanese Experiment Module. The old NASDA headquarters were located at the current site of the Tanegashima Space Center, on Tanegashima Island, 115 kilometers south of Kyūshū. NASDA also trained Japanese astronauts, who flew with the US Space Shuttles.[6]

Apparently Vietnam transfered space technology to China
Don't forget VNese was the first Asian (outside of Russia) in space , not CHinese nor Japanese

That does not bother us. As of now Vietnam still cannot reach out into space without getting a lift from the America. Funny you are trying to claim a bit of glory off an American who ditched Vietnam behind

Hehe, the only problem we have is just Money for space programe, not technology bcz we learned a lot in USSR already (not US) . Maybe we even can start 'Star wars' doctrine now when CHina still don't know what is 'Star wars' means
Tuan reached rank of lieutenant colonel in the VPAF before eventually training to be a research cosmonaut in the joint USSR-Vietnamese Space program. On April 1, 1979, he was selected as a member of the sixth international crew for the Intercosmos program. His backup was Bùi Thanh Liêm. Tuan, along with Soviet cosmonaut Viktor Gorbatko, was launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome on July 23, 1980, on board Soyuz 37 en route to the Salyut 6 station.

Yep and how long was it since the USSR collapsed? I hope you are not thinking that he learned how to build space shuttles too?

If Chinese doesn't know what star wars is, then the Vietnamese must not know the earth is round :smokin:

Hehe, of course not , but at least VN also have many experience about space programe long before China-Japan knew about it

But you don't have Scalar ray for military satellite yet , and it will take quite a long time to develope it.

When you have some idea about this ray, maybe VN can manufacture a satellite fit with Scalar ray and shoot down all of your satellites and space shuttles to 'Save the World 'already.

Hehe.. those experience doesn't matter to us. We can build our own space station and launch our own rockets and satellites remember and Vietnam cannot

It will not take a long time to develope it as we already have such technologies and are constantly improving upon it. It is true when you talk about Vietnam since you are so far behind in both technology and arms race

Maybe we will save the world from falling into the evil Vietnamese want-to-be empire by shooting down every Vietnam launched satellites first so they won't have any in space? :smokin:

China is developing a multi-dimensional programme aimed at improving its ability to limit or prevent the use of space-based assets by adversaries during a crisis, the Pentagon says in its latest report on the country’s military. Is this another step toward a ‘Star Wars’ missile defence shield?

Certainly according to South Korea’s Chosun Ilbo, it is. ‘China is developing a missile defence system in the highest layer of the atmosphere and outer space using high-end technologies like laser beams and kinetic energy intercept,’ the paper notes as it dissects the report, which has just been presented to the US Congress.

Yeah, Tiananman Chinese killer now talking about humanitarian affairs and just maybe only.

lol, Japan's space technology is far behind of China, meanwhile Korea has no space technology.

Hehe...We can not bcz we don't have Money , but with Japan help , our space station will not fall behind too far bcz we have More space experience than you in he past

Hehe...we don't hear anything about CHina scalar wave untill now when USSR already showed it during VN war already .So come back and brag after you have some improvement on it

Sorry , CHina fall behind for too long during Cold war already , Russia- USA will help VN to go back to Glory in Space programe , when CHina will get stuck on Earth forever bcz Russia-USa will shoot down your military satellite when in too dangerous
