It is no secret that the US went to war in Afghanistan soon after the attacks on 9/11. It is also no secret that this decade long war has resulted in many of our brave troops losing their lives. But a few images intended to undermine our progress cannot hide the truth and the facts remain for us to determine the exact situation in Afghanistan. The changes taking place today were simply unimaginable in Afghanistan a decade ago. Al-Qaeda’s terrorist organization has been dismantled from Afghanistan, and the people of Afghanistan are no longer living under the fear of dictatorship. The hard work of the US and NATO forces continues to lead Afghanistan toward a bright future, and billions of dollars have already been spent on Afghanistan’s infrastructure. ANSF are fast assuming the security responsibilities, and that day is not far when they will be independently protecting the nation of Afghanistan. Our job is not done yet, but rest assured that everything is moving along as planned. Those who doubt will continue to doubt, but the truth cannot be hidden with a few images attempting to portray a false story.

Mr Centcom,

1. Nobody asked you for this war.
2. This war is not welcome by Afghan citizens, as evident by their popular resistance..and if you believe in democracy then you must admit Afghani's respite against presence of foreign troops in their lands.
3. This war killed thousand of innocent people who had nothing to do with 9/11 and was waged with false pretext..and so was the Iraq war.
