Turkish defense giant TAI opens first office in Pakistan

Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) has opened its first office in Pakistan at the country's National Science & Technology Park.

The technology park, Pakistan's first, is expected to make significant contributions to the country's technological development.

"We are the first Turkish defense firm to open an office in Pakistan's first technopark," TAI Marketing and Communications Director Serdar Demir said in a statement to Anadolu Agency (AA) Tuesday.

The technopark was inaugurated by Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, who also visited the TAI office. "We informed the Pakistani prime minister about the cooperation opportunities and the projects that TAI aims to carry out in Pakistan. We are one of the six countries to have an office in Pakistan's first technopark," Demir said, adding that the company will also assess cooperation opportunities with Pakistani universities.

Demir underlined TAI's deal to sell 30 T129 ATAK helicopters to Pakistan and the company's aim to positively conclude the ongoing process. He noted that the firm is in negotiations with the country over other defense platforms.

TAI and Pakistan's Ministry of Defense Production signed a deal last July to export the 30 attack and reconnaissance helicopters. The Turkish defense firm has assumed extensive responsibility in terms of logistics, spare parts, training and ammunition. https://www.dailysabah.com/defense/...ense-giant-tai-opens-first-office-in-pakistan

"Pak, Iran and Turkey will be on one side"
Niamat Allah Shah Wali's prediction about GhazwatulHind.

Kotil: “It is the first time Muslims design/develop the strategic systems. We need eachothers. Gökbey is the first utility helicopter, TF-X is the first fighter aircraft and Atak-2 is the first heavy class attack helicopters of Muslim World. We need partnership on this programs.”

We offered joint production/partnership for Gökbey to Pakistan, Kazakstan and Malaysia.

Kotil said that We officially invited Malaysia to Tf-X MMU aircraft. They are working on our offers, later they will decide. In this regard, Malaysia and Turkey signed a cooperation deal for composite technologies in KL summit as well. Malaysia and Turkey is working on a likely partnership deal for Atak-2, Hürjet light attack aircraft programs as well. There will be a giant technology transfer to Malaysia and Mahathir Muhammet is eager to form a strategic partnership with Turkish institutes. First steps were taken in KL summit.

IMO Pakistan should consider investing in the TF-X, ATAK 2 and 10 ton Transport Helicopter.
