and never saw any check point at Dutch-German border

@Götterdämmerung gibt's so was ?

Years back,a female friend of mine drove her Toyota Landcruiser from England to Germany for a short break。

She was abruptly told to turn back at a check-point on the Dutch-German border。

When asking the reason for the entry refusal,she was simply told:”This(her car)is not good enough for Deutschland! :hitwall:

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah...... . . . . .. It's beautiful. Now i'm regretting that why i didn't availed the opportunity to be in germany when i got admission in the MS program.

@Götterdämmerung

Are you from Berlin or know any details about it? Specifically, what neighborhoods should one avoid when renting an appartment.

thanks for reply.

Berlin is a quite safe city, but if the budget permits, I would suggest to look at Prenzlauer Berg and Charlottenburg. Those are lively and hip quarters (but not cheap). If you prefer upscale, Berlin Mitte or Grunewald are the addresses.
