The Census of India 2011 has given a very clear picture.

The majority of people of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands are Hindus, with significant Christian population consisting 21.7% of the total population of the Union Territory according to the 2011 census of India. Small but significant Muslim and Sikh minorities also exist on the islands.

GoI census is never doctored.
It is the sole data set used by GoI to make national policies. Policies cannot be made based on falsified data or even the NSS.

I dont know whether you would get a visa or not. But if you can get it, feel free to go to A&N Islands yourself. I have gone there. Muslim culture is almost non existent there barring the small Muslim population.

The biggest group by far there is Hindus and Sikhs, then come the Christians.
There is no basis for any claim from any country barring Myanmar which can have some level of claim. That is because Myanmar also houses a Dharmic culture and is physically very close to A&N Islands.
Even then legally speaking, A&N belongs to India.

Bangladesh and Indonesia have as much claim on A&N Islands as they have on Texas(United States).

Mayanmar has no claim..we gave them Coco Islands as goodwill gesture..hell,they didn't have claim on that either..thats one single largest mistake we did as Coo island is one hell of a strategic area.we control all the surrounding waters though..
