Sports is not viewed as something that promotes a country , its just viewed as time wasting untill our gov does not realize this we will always s-uck in all sports
Sports promots
a) Leadership qualities
b) Selft esteem of nation
c) Promotes culture and trourism as players are embassadors
d) Raises awareness of nation in world arena
We have no support by our corporate sector , or gov mainly our corporate sector is dead -
The big mobile companies are ok to create commercials for 100,000k
becasue it sells phones and connectiosn but they can't spend that money to help sports - that is a sad reality in Pakistan
I know this for fact because I am directly associated with a local club in Pak land
