The 2001 Boraibari massacre: When Bangladeshi troops brutally tortured and killed Indian jawans, mutilated their bodies

Can anyone explain how that 16 men got captured? you need at least 50-100 men to capture 16 men whom are willing to fight until the last
Perhaps, you are not familiar wth then situation. Padua was the contested land since 1971 war. It always belonged to east Pakistan, but India did not relinquish it after the war. So, our BDR troops raided it and recaptured.

It was then vacated by the BDR, but IA and BSF wanted to revenge the insult. A few days later, 400 of them attacked the BDR camp in Boroibari manned by 13 troops. BDR came to know it from a family.

When the IA troops came closer the camp they opened fire. 98 of them were killed and injured. So, the IS rushed back towards the border taking their dead and injured.

But, 16 remained inside BD, injured or killed already.
