Hope the Nevada Justice system gives them the death penalty. They thought they would get a slap on the wrist because they were in the juvenile Justice system. They and other would be killers need to learn Intentionally murder has consequences.

If they are prosecuted as minors then revoke the driving rights of all under 18, because your old enough to drive a 2 ton car, you should be old enough to face the consequences if you misuse it.

They thought it knocked him out. That doesn't show intent to kill, required for conviction.

He thought he was knocking him out? Did he think he was in a boxing ring? He deserves the death penalty (if Nevada has it). But, being under 18 it will save him. Still, he should get life or several decades. He went deliberately behind him like he was in a video game, acting out fantasy in real life. Trash with no morals.

Youth miscalculate effect of not high speed collision is not intent to murder (just being rhetorical here for examples sake)....Compare with France where police aimed a lethal weapon at a disobedient driver and shot him dead point blank for "voluntary manslaughter" charge.....

If someone deliberately runs over pedestrians or bicyclists claiming they had no intent to kill, but only for fun, they will still get charged for full-blown murder if the person dies, and attempted murder if he survives.

That is different to this. The youth exclaimed he thought he was knocked out immediately afterward on same video. To prove murder you must prove intent. It's not a statement at arrest. Also others are adults and normally that's seen as having less understanding. Last speed doesn't look high on video. Just saying btw

This was the second bicyclist they hit that day. The first one survived.
She said it was the third cyclist (in the news). They are being tried in adult court. Nevada has the death penalty. I hope they get it, but being underage may save them. This kind of trash should not be burdened on tax payers.

I bet you've never said the equivalent with the frequent police murders of civilians.
