What's the main advantage of retractable landing gears to static ones? Does it have any effects on flying heights, flight endurance, maneuvering and etc?

@SOHEIL: Can you put the Youtube video and some pics in the first post?

Fantastic news guys, congratulations to everybody! This is a game changer. Imagine how much easier it will be to deal with the drug traffickers or armed terrorist groups trying to infiltrate the country, instead of putting the lives of our soldiers at risk.

WRT the missiles, are those different versions of the Sadid that were displayed on the Shahed 285 that were displayed a while back?

Regarding the engine, by the amount and the size of intakes and the space the engine occupies it looks like a turboprop. But which one? Does Iran manufacture any turboprops (except for the one on IrAn-140)?

Mate, i'am not a defence expert like cabatli....I can only run guesses. The only thing comes to my mind is, drag coefficient from the days of my fluid mechanics classes.

As the drag coefficient will increase with static landing gears which will negatively impact aircraft's speed, altitude and range.

I really liked the movie showing the combat scene and hitting the target. Similar to US tech. Add some real IR images of real smugglers being shot! It would be jaw dropping.
Congratulations.

@Syrian Lion ... what is your idea :pop:

Can we test it in syria !? :ashamed:

You can earn respect by using it inside your country. Testing it in Syria reduces the international respect for Iran and risks losing the tech to major rivals.
