What's new

Saudi and Arabs' Dress Cultures

Hey @al-Hasani , I hear you ! But I say this to you & to all Muslims (Pakistanis, Persians, Arabs etc.) what Iqbal - the poet-philosopher - said when Muslims would talk about their past glories :

'Theiii tou woh tumhareiii abaa hiii purr tum kiya hoo ? Haath pei haaath dhareiii muntazar-e-furda hoo ?'

'Indeed they (the Ottomans, the Abdalis, the Umayyads, the Tughlaqs, the Chakar Khans etc.) were your ancestors but who are you to claim their glories ? You who sit ideally without moving a muscle hoping against hope that a destiny like there's will reveal itself on you just because you're from their descendents ?'

I hear you, bro. As I said I wanted to refrain from making that post but a few insulting, ignorant, incorrect and plain idiotic claims forced me to make that reply. Otherwise I have no interest in a pissing contest. All I ask for is respect for my people and our culture that undeniably gave Islam a lot and all Muslims. I don't even demand anything or any form of praise. Just leave us alone if people only have insults to make towards us.

A few more pictures and small portions of some traditional Arab dresses:

They are indeed beautiful dresses. I have a white thop with that read thing and two wheels you wear on the head. I wear it once in a blue moon, apart from restricting my movement bit, i kinda love it. :D

The hijab style from the Chinese ethnic Hui, does the girl look to have some Arabic blood in her?

Can't see any pictures my friend.

Some more traditional Arab dresses:

Proud Emirati Bedouins: (I see a lot of insults thrown towards ordinary Bedouins like they ever hurt anyone. They are good, simple and extremely proud people). I wish people had more respect for them, including Arabs themselves.

Yes, I can see them now. Difficult to say if she has Arab blood. Hard for me to tell by just looking at her. I mean Arabs are quite diverse. I would say that she has some oriental features but whether those are Arab ones or something else I can't say with certainty and I doubt that anyone can (smiley - can't make one due to having posted 8 photos in this thread already)

Her Arabid trait is in fact quite strong, but it also got softened with the Han Chinese mixture. So she looks very feminine.

Many Hui Chinese obviously have either the bloodline from Arab or Iranian Sunni traders. I've seen other Huis with Iranid traits as well.

Actually she has now when I look at her. You are right. The initial "Chinese look" I got from looking at her made me not notice her other features. She is quite interesting looking. Not the typical Chinese girl I have seen that is for sure.

The eyes look sinicized, while the nose and the overall facial structure still look Arabid, some women from the Ottoman Empire could share a similar look to her as well.

Yes. Actually I find her eyes quite big for a Chinese girl and big eyes are a Arabian/Semitic feature if you notice. That's actually a correct stereotype for once.

Often you can spot whether a Muslim girl wearing a hijab is an Arab (Arabian particularly) or not or has a big possibility of being one just by looking at the distinct Arabian/Arab/Semitic eyes as the ones above. Not always correct obviously but can give you an indication.

Arabs in fact descended from the first group of the archaic caucasoid, and many Europeans in fact also have less-caucasoid eye shape compared to the Arabs.

Chinese mixed with European will produce an offspring with more oriental eye shape compared to the Chinese-Arab mix like many Huis.

Many Russians are super blonde with blue eyes, but their eye shape usually looks less-caucasoid compared to Arabs.

Out of all the people I have met in my life, Arabs have come across the most racist, the hatred they spew is disgusting, very similar to Indians and Israelis.

This thread should be closed.
