Russian airstrikes did not change anything. However swarms of Shia mercenaries sent by Iran did allow to capture some territory and cleanse about 150,000 Sunni civilians.

Russia targets rebel forces supported by saudi+ and Saudi+ attacks syrian forces to dislodge assad regime so isis is benefiting from the this difference of goals between two sides. aerial offensive bring done by US, west or Russia is going to affect isis to a certain extent without ground offensive

I mean in regards to this forum, every chink and Russian were talking about the likes of nuclear war and how the Russians will blow them up in a week.

Russian orthodox christians are no allies of muslims, just because they are utilising your militiamen and they get rich from your money for arms does not make them an ally, it makes them someone who uses you.

True, but then again can you blame the Russians? No, i wont, they are just protecting their interests like any other western power does be it U.S/U.K or France. So i don't see anything wrong in Russia's actions here, they will do anything that serves Mother Russia first, others can whine or cheer-lead all they want, the Russians to be honest don't really give a shit. lool
There is no morality in geo politics unfortunately, even less so when it concerns the Russians who dont even try the western political correctness stuff, neither does Putin have to answer by protests to their public/opposition parties about any of their actions(against civilians) unlike in the U.S/U.K . We have to get use to how politics works.:partay:

Hitler and Stalin also believed in the same shit, this is why they could commit any crime for the interest of their countries. So what if those despots are dead, their disciples are well fed and prospering.

Hitler was foolish. Instead of carving out Germany;s sphere of influence in Asia/Africa and Middle east like Britain, U.K, France and Russia did. He instead wanted to conquer the whole of Europe(including taking on big powers like Britain and its empire) and even Russia. That was the most foolish thing to do ever taking on other advanced/industrialized powerful world powers.. You might be strong, but NEVER take on big(or bigger) powers head on directly. It's a lose-lose situation(even if at the end you win, you will be so weakened that other powers will be the one to benefit from your 'victory'). Even at the height of our empire when we ruled the four seas/world uncontested, we really never toke on a big power like say Russia head on for no good reason, it want worth it( its not like that we couldn't defeat them in any naval confrontation).

IT'S ONE THING TO HAVE POWER,BUT ITS ANOTHER THING TO KNOW WHEN AND HOW TO USE IT. :)
Hitler clearly didnt know howto use Germany's formidable military might unlike the U.S, U.K and even Russia did.:)

American propaganda trying hard to discriminate Russian successful bombing since the bigging of operation.

Yet, they didn't ask the question what did USA or lapdogs achieved in Syria in the war against terrorism? The answer is nothing.

Two Points: What is Russian measurement of success? That they are able to fly in Syria without loosing anymore aircrafts? Or that they have been able to stop the steady advances of anti-Assad forces? Or that their Naval base is secured? Or the Ukrainian entanglement is off the Radar?

US and it's 'lapdogs' have managed to further their strategy. Look at the Muslim world, all are fighting each other and utter chaos reigns in progressive nations. Started with Iraq then Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Yemen, Syria .. and the latest is Turkey is back fighting the Kurds in its south eastern region. Stability is lost, quietly US has shifted to shale and increased its oil production while destabilizing med east. It is reaping the profits, controlling the oil prices so that your economies are down in the drain (and if you think it is not so just compare one indicator, the rouble today to what it was back in 2003-05) by lowest oil prices in years, further has fuelled insurrection by pitting Iran vs Saudi Arabia. A master stroke of realpolitik. It has finished Saudi Arabia by propping up Iran, put Shias vs Sunnis and thus negated the ever present danger of islamist attacks to a certain extent and all the while strengthened its economy by reaping oil profits and selling military hardware to all sides. And yeah .. it has pushed Russia more into a mess ... from which Russia can not withdraw easily without loosing face.

woow......fanning sectarianism ....

Its not only in the thread, it is a systematic policy. And spectacular. The whole of Muslim world is fighting one another ....!

The biggest victory for Syria in terms of Russia involvement is the change in narrative. The political project for Assad's removal has now been subdued and the UN talks point towards a solution withhis government in place.

This is the real victory.

huh UN talks agreed on that there is no future for assad in syria even ruskies agreed to that

Another completely predictable event..... Isis can not be defeated using air power alone...... Russia has added nothing to the mix other that cause more civilian deaths
Only ground assault give result. Air power only disperse the enemy on the ground.

topic of this thread and that article and my comment have nothing to do with some fan boy's comments in a forum.

relations between Iran and Russia is based on common interests, the amount of money which they have spent in Syria is way more than the amount which they have gained through selling arms to us.

Except some very few (or should I say one), no government in the world cares about religion. they all follow their interests in the framework of materialism. so there is no actual difference between Communism, liberalism, socialism, etc. as far as we are concerned, Russians respect more to moral values than some other countries, some which even call themselves Islamic.
