Awesome indeed.
What purpose would the above jets be used for.
The front nose looks a bit stealthy.

2 of my favorite countries are Russia and Germany.... unfortunately they fought the biggest battle in World History.... currently another country is added to my favorite list i.e. US, since I stay here......... but still Russia and Germany will be joint winner for me.

On topic - yes this is after the fall of Poland. At times I think, if Hitler won't have broken the Molotov-Ribbentrop what could have happened........

WWII Behind Closed Doors: Stalin, the Nazis and the West . Episode 1 . Stalin's Pact with Hitler | PBS

Hitler came to power in Germany by help of the British secret services. They have sponsored him at first, until he became chancellor. They allowed him to turn up without a fight half of Europe into the Reich. This was done with one purpose - to incite Germany to Russia, so that the two main rival Anglo-Saxons were derived from the game. In 1939, Hitler had deceived them. He made peace with the Soviet and turned tanks toward the West. Too bad he did not have the strength to completely erase the Anglo-Saxons plans, he still had to attack the Soviet Union. Although Hitler himself said many times that the most insane - a war on two fronts ...

British were very clever........ I have heard that the British were behind the break of this Nazi-Soviet pact. They made such a war propaganda that even the 2 Super Powers got fooled. Both the Soviets and Germans were expecting of an imminent attack from the other, due to this incessant propaganda which ultimately paid off.

Sir Stafford Cripps was the person.

When Winston Churchill formed his wartime coalition government in 1940 he appointed Cripps Ambassador to the Soviet Union in the view that Cripps, who had Marxist sympathies, could negotiate with Joseph Stalin who was at this time allied with Nazi Germany through the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. When Hitler attacked the Soviet Union in June 1941, Cripps became a key figure in forging an alliance between the western powers and the Soviet Union.
In 1942 Cripps returned to Britain and made a broadcast about the Soviet war effort. The popular response was phenomenal, and Cripps rapidly became one of the most popular politicians in the country, despite having no party backing. He was appointed a member of the War Cabinet, with the jobs of Lord Privy Seal and Leader of the House of Commons, and was considered for a short period after his return from Moscow as a rival to Churchill in his hold on the country.

It was just a matter of time for the attack to take place and could have been done by anyone. And then Hitler took the initiative and attacked Soviet Union, the largest landmass of the world and this is how the largest and bloodiest war of human history triggered.

This is interesting ............ let me start a thread on this!!

But yes.... I did have a common hate as well for both the Nazis and Soviets ..... Nazi Germany -> They did mass massacre of the Jews. Soviet Russia -> mass genocides in the gulags. These 2 things were unacceptable from both.

But still they remain my favorites!!

The Soviet Union did not have aggressive plans against Germany. Stalin defeated Trotsky - becouse he had plans for World Revolution. And Stalin just wanted to reunite the lands of the Russian Empire. He believed that socialism can be built in a single country.
And Hitler was originally meant to be offensive - it so did by the British.
In 1936, the West has allowed Gitler spend the Summer and Winter Olympics - this never happend again in history. Hitler was a Man of the Year in 1938. West helps in every way exactly Hitler until Hitler had stopped listening to them and instead attack the Soviet Union in 1939, he made a pact with the Soviet Union.
Of all the countries, only the Soviet Union offered military assistance to Czechoslovakia - but the Czech refused because they believed that England and France will help them. And England and France just sold them.
The British were going to war with Germany until the last Russian soldier...

Listen. Do you know that Solzhenitsyn's forbidden to read in Guantanamo?
Do you know that in the U.S. is now more prisoners per capita than it was in the 30s in the USSR? That in the United States there are private prisons that are not interested in prisoners were released? That with all of the anti-terrorism laws infringe on human rights is much greater than it was during the repression in the Soviet Union?
