bcz u cant afford it.i think russia knws it very well. so they wont take wrong steps. su-30mkk is chinese version.

Some people have wild imaginations, although no naval exercises were carried out, land based ones were. And do some people honestly think that Mig officials or Putin hid in the bushes, waited for the Indian navy to arive and than gave orders not to do a naval exercise, but instead punish the Indians by conducting a land based exercise?

Whom do you think India will run to buy up more arms when Pakistan is armed to the teeth? Russia will get bigger orders from India when Pakistan is armed up. It's nice to be the arm dealer to both conflicting parties.

And if that relationship can obstruct Pakistan's purchase of defense equipment from France, think what the relationship with Russia can do..

in that case may india will prefer US or Israel. RUSSIA is not US to offer free or to give discount.

i would not read too much into this as there may have been certain compulsions . a game on a much higher level to try to show to India they still are our suppliers and we should think twice before rejecting them . its one that India too has played in the past ..
