Question regarding Army

Assalam u alaikum , i have a passion for army and want to join after graduation, but i had a tragedy in my life also that i have a cataract surgery before that i wasnt able to saw properly but now i can see clearly . my question is can i join army . would i face hurdle because of my cataract surgery?

depends upon how good your eyesight is right now. why you developed cataract so early? any specific reason like for example steroid eye drops usage etc? if you are 6/6 with glasses it shouldnt be a matter unless you have a tendency of developing cataract in the other eye due to some metabolic disorder or systemic disease.
a piece of advice dont get frustrated if you fail to clear the medical test for army. in that case Allah must have a different and better plan for you.
