PM, Punjab CM getting life threats: Sanaullah
LAHORE: Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif are receiving life threats.
Talking to media here on Saturday, the law minister said that the Sharif brothers are facing security concerns, adding there is a risk of terrorist activity during the holy month of Muharram.
Rana Sanaullah further said that the Pervez Musharraf had violated the article 6 of the constitution and a committee has been constituted to look into the matter. He added if Musharraf found guilty then action would be taken against the former military ruler.
The minister said that if Musharraf wanted to visit Punjab then the provincial government would provide security to him.
He said that the ordinance would be promulgated to conduct local government elections on party basis.
