PM Imran Khan addresses to nation about new map of Pakistan

Why is Pakistan not asking for the rest of Punjab?

Werent muslim majority states supposed to join Pakistan- in that case India/Brits screwed Pakistan by partitioning punjab/bengal when combined they were both muslim majority and should have gone to Pakistan....
A united Punjab and Bengal is what Jinnah wanted but was not accepted by the British or Congress. Jinnah and the Muslim League accepted that partition plan and therefore Pakistan has no legal standing to claim 'the rest of Punjab'.

No, it shows that Pakistan wants to engage in talks with China after the dispute is resolved in accordance with UNSC Resolutions (assuming the plebiscite goes in Pakistan's favor) and negotiate the final border.

Please refrain from putting your bhakt spin on something so patently obvious.

What is there to negotiate .. Question is simple is it Kashmiri territory or is it not? It is strange, that you want Kashmir for yourself but you can't even define jts borders.

Is the above highlighted a verifiable objective truth?
There are both Indian and non-Indian sources that provide estimates.

And the BBC article states that many Hindus moved to Jammu, which would still be considered part of Jammu & Kashmir in a plebiscite. Secondly, 250,000 is just the number of those massacred by the Maharajah. An equal, if not higher, number was displaced, so, again, the demographic impact of what happened to Muslims far outweighs what occurred with the Pandits.

The point here is that a fair plebiscite is still possible, and Pakistan is still willing to hold it, even though the demographic changes in J&K work against Pakistan.

Lol... this open ended map seems like a joke.

Pakistani government seems confused, there confusion stems from, not wanting to anger the Chinese, by claiming an area Jammu and Kashmir which either China is claiming now or might claim in future...such that they could not even include eastern boundary of erst while state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Just shows how much Pakistani care about Kashmirs, that they would happily give away a part of their state to China as long as Pakistan also get some.

Its like.. bhaad mein jayein Kashmiri and their land..China ke sath mil baant ke khanyenge Kashmir ko.
You think whatever way you like, We don't care about your narrative, Like china decline your fifth session talk over laddak. the political map is different from other types of maps because it focuses on government or administrative boundaries rather than geographical or physical features. Your passport and military deployment also based on this map. It means with UN rubber stamp, India illegally on Pakistan territories, and we have a right to get back our claimed Land with a talk or scale-up something like Feb 27, 2019 movement deep into our Land.

Why didn't Pakistan include the whole Kashmir region? Interesting.

I personally think this a bad move by Pakistan. They should have gone for whole Kashmir.

That is what needs to be negotiated, either between India and China or Pakistan and China, once the dispute is resolved in accordance with UNSC Resolutions.

Demarcation of boundaries isn't just about transferring hundreds of thousands of square miles from one country to the other, it typically involves minor adjustments here and there.

Again, please stop putting your unsubstantiated spin on things.

According to Pakistanis either areas of Jammu and Kashmir claimed by China(and any future claims they might make) are either Kashmiri territory or its not. What has plebescite got to do with it?

Reality is Pakistan could not care less about integrity territory Jammu and Kashmir or it's people ..as long as they get some Kashmiri land in return. And this map proves it.

Pakistan isn't interested in claiming waste land Aksai Chin. We only care about Kashmiri people. What India claim and then surrender in humiliating way to China is of no concern to us.

Will the population of the open part be part of the plebiscite.

Its a new map, futuristic to be precise. Thums up to Pak PM

Its a map which is not supposed to be read through border lines but through colours. In this newly devised color methodology, all the colored areas (including the fading away green in the top right) represent pakistan. Border lines are no longer mandatory.

Great new methodology to create & read maps of future!!

PM unveil new Map of Pakistan.

Good step. UN resolutions and plebiscite is the only solution.
India has to be pushed to come to the senses and accept a plebiscite under UN.
Remove all the obstacles created by India in Kashmir. Lift the curfew.
Remove the army from disputed areas.
Pakistan should also ask for the territory of Junnagadh.
I think it is added to new Pakistani map
Pakistan should also highlight Hyderabad, Mysore, Assam and Lakshwadeep.

The greater the pressure on Hindus, the better.

Pakistan should claim Punjab and Bengal too.

It may sound funny today, but who knows - 50 years down the line if the Union is weak, Pakistan may get a legitimate role in politics.
