Pakistani response to Indian Nuclear Tests?

And how will it feed its people without loans, aids and sanctions in place.
Definitely not with the energy liberated in the test.
:victory:

Pakistan didn’t had foreign exchange reserves to finance one month imports in 1998, I am sure you can do the math that Pakistan is economically in much better shape than it was in 1998.

Same is the case of political situation unlike 1990s USA and Europe are completely dependent on Pakistani help to survive and win war in Afghanistan

USA has already tried sanctions against Pakistan and had to take a U turn from its point of view and had to remove those.

Do you think that USA will risk life of its soldiers in Afghanistan by putting sanctions against Pakistan? Loans and aid packages are used by the USA to keep corrupt politicians on its side and it will have negligible impact on the lives of average Pakistanis

Lastly there will be short term economic loses but such tests will help Pakistan in long term by assuring the whole world that it can defend against any foreign aggression and their investments will be safe in Pakistan.

It will be stupid to follow suit with India this time around... Just wait and see India be put under economic sanctions and if there's any talk of lifting sanctions, we can keep threatening to test :D...

We have to play our cards right.

We have far more Foreign exchange reserves when compared to 1998 to finance our imports and West is far more dependent on Pakistani help in Afghanistan, so I would say that Pakistan is in much better economic and political position to test then it was in 1998.:pakistan:

Our only major issue will be Mr. Unlimited %

what far more reserves you are talking about, if you mean $14 bln, then let me tell you this money is only enough for the 3/4 months import bill only, yes then we can once again take out our kashkol.

Ignore the trolls please.

Sir with due respect Nuclear tests and sanctions and economy go hand in hand. it is the same reason that the nations are bit hesitant to do the tests. Because it will result in economic crisis. So we cannot ignore the economic impact of conducting the tests.

That is very well said. And I agree with you on your point. US plans to exit in a year or so or maximum by 2012. We can conduct the tests then.... to avoid the pursuit.

Null and void which is why India wont test..they worked so hard to get the damn deal.

This time if India tests the simple equations would be to bring americans in the favor of the test. China card and signing of CTBT can be used to bring them to negotiation table. And once India signs the CTBT Americans can also put pressure on Pakistan to sign the same. So these can be the motivating factor for Americans to support Indian tests though they may or may not condemn them publicly. This can be under hoods also.

Is India willing to sign CTBT with considering whether Pakistan signs it or not?

yeah i also liked the idea of post 9 and 11 :rofl

thats the way to go. We have already proved as a Nuclear nation so don't need to prove again :D just give some warnings to the world that if India does the tests again they will follow the same suit .............. if they does just ask the world to donate $5-10 billion dollars more to avoid another test this time  and if they don't agree :D just do it once again

If India ever go for a test then it would be for a Thermonuclear/Fusion device. If Pakistan want to counter it, it should develope and test a thermonuclear device.......othewise who care about a regular fission reaction that have repeated thousands of times and proove no improvement.

Prooving fission capability is cool, But prooving fusion capability is cowabunga!!!!!!:agree:

Friends dont you think something going on in background??? dont you think india told america it would sign CTBT if america let india test one last nuclear test? To which america might have given nod??? Thats why one scientist said india should test nuclear bomb. Than our kalam said test was successfull and suddenly he dissapeard next day and not commented anything in media. Something going on. America and india working on something. Why would after 10years india would say that test was not totally successful??? Am sure america and india made a deal that india would test nuclear bomb for last time and than would sign CTBT.

yups americans can take care of that because right now pakistan has a point that Indians have not signed it so if they sign Indians can go ahead do the tests.. So the main reason for not signing CTBT would be over for Pakistan and our american friends are very good at building pressure economically on any coutry either through aid or through IMF or loans. They have many such weapons in their armoury....... :usflag:

well there wont be much cry this time as indians will be doing it under US cover,,
there wont be any sanctions, evn not strong critisism. all this will start to ahppen once Pakistan test there ones,,
dont you guys realise that world do treat india and paksitan with biased attitude!!

regards!
