You lost kargil thrice (well, four times including kargil war). These peaks were annexed by India in 1971. "many" definition is not all. You had more than 100 peaks at start and retain only one. That means you lost many (most, almost all is more accurate).

Rubbish! read some history before babbling. Pakistan won the 1965 war as well as the kargil conflict militarily! (it was a conflict not a war) We still hold yr peak called point 5353.

o bhai! that tiger hill was as far as we had gone if i remember correctly, Drass sector was also under our control before retaken. However we still holed the area before nawaz sharif was asked to withdraw. And we withdrawn and u took back the remaining areas upto point 5353 which is still under our control.

The Kargil valley is part of the Indian Occupied Kashmir, its under yr control like the rest of the valley since the liberation war of Kashmir in 1947-48. It wasnt under our control ever even in and before 1971 war. Pakistan and india had a pact after it that the areas captured by pakistan on western front was to be given back in exchange of our troops. U had only captured our territory in East and on the west in the first place.

You won the war, but it is us who are occupying and you are withdrawing? You need to brushup your history and geology. Kargil valley was never taken, but other peaks were under Gilgit Scouts, captured by India during Runn of Kutch incidednt, returned, captured again during 1965 war, returned again finally annexing the whole thing after 1971 war.

In October 1947, following the announcement of Kashmir’s accession to India, the Gilgit Scouts, a predominantly Muslim force raised by the British for internal security, revolted against the Dogras, and in a series of daring actions in1948 captured Kargil, Drass, Zoji La Pass and Skardu. However, in November 1948, Zoji La Pass and Kargil were recaptured by the Indians while the Kargil heights remained with the Gilgit Scouts.

During the Rann of Kutch conflict, these heights were captured by the Indians for the first time on May 17, 1965, for use as a bargaining counter in the negotiations. As a result of the agreement reached, the heights were returned to Pakistan in June 1965. In the first week of August 1965, Operation Gibraltar was launched. One of the areas used by the infiltrating force was the Kargil heights. To block these routes, the Indians captured the heights for the second time in the third week of August 1965. But after the signing of the Tashkent Agreement, the heights were once again returned to Pakistan.

On the outbreak of war on the western front on December 3, 1971, the Indians captured the heights for the third time on December 9, 1971. This time, however, they retained the heights in line with the Shimla Agreement..."

i dont think whats written here is true by Javed hussain. Use yr mind if that was true then these peaks would have never returned to the indians by pakistan army after nawaz sharif agreed to withdraw since principally these were pakistan's. From what i know already is that we had captured the areas on the western front that was given back to indira gandhi in exchange of troops, there had been no india gains in western fronts.
