Pakistani aircraft violates Indian airspace in J&K

almost a minute? Had hai.
Bhai technical violation might happen in a hilly terrain if pilot is not well versed with local areas. We should not be hair-trigger happy. Have pop-corn n enjoy the trolling!!!

Any pickup by radars?

& what might that be? Does it imply six propellers?

My guess is it was some sort of drone. something like this

Six bladed helicopters are possibility, heavy planes can be recognized much easily.

Gentlemen

As per Pictures ---Appears a SAAB 2000 (2 Engine Bird--Meets the Fuselage shape)

Now was it AWACS version --- SIGNIT Record Intercept will confirm -- I am sure ground Radars or Aerostats will give us feedm
There are no pictures.SAAB is impossible because the aircraft is very small.
While IANS is quoting anonymous BSF sources saying it was a civilian operated light chopper, ANI on the hand says that the chopper never crossed into Indian territory and what entered was a quadcopter.

And yes it is also mentioned that image is only for reference.

a Border Security Force (BSF) jawan noticed a small silver colour, six-wing aircraft entering the Indian airspace

The only eyewitness to the incident

It was also not clear whether the aircraft belonged to Pakistani army or not

government officials also said that it is being investigated whether BSF officer correctly noticed the aircraft in Indian airspace because he is not an expert in the planes

June bug epidemic:

The June bug epidemic serves as a classic example of hysterical contagion. In 1962 a mysterious disease broke out in a dressmaking department of a US textile factory.

The symptoms included numbness, nausea, dizziness, and vomiting. Word of a bug in the factory that would bite its victims and cause them to develop the above symptoms quickly spread.

Soon sixty two employees developed this mysterious illness, some of whom were hospitalized. The news media reported on the case. After research by company physicians and experts from the US Public Health Service Communicable Disease Center, it was concluded that the case was one of mass hysteria.

While the researchers believed some workers were bitten by the bug, anxiety was probably the cause of the symptoms. No evidence was ever found for a bug which could cause the above flu-like symptoms, nor did all workers demonstrate bites.

Workers concluded that the environment was quite stressful; the plant had recently opened, was quite busy and organization was poor. Further, most of the victims reported high levels of stress in their lives. Social forces seemed at work too.

Of the 62 employees that reported symptoms, 59 worked on the first shift, 58 worked in the same area, and 50 of the 62 cases occurred in the two consecutive days after the media supposedly “sensationalized” the event. Most of the employees who became sick took days off to recuperate

Why not wait for the radar analysis?

Thanks to our incompetent defence minister , we don't have anti aircraft artillery, modern MANPADs, QR SAM, SR SAM, enough surveillance equipment or interceptors too, so the UAV can happily come and go home back.

Thank you DM Parikkar

Should I correct you?o_O

probably just a warning... don't mind it too much

Just to blame Pakistan for everything

What, a small civil chopper straying into Indian airspace for 1 minute? You call that a warning?

Then what was this? A declaration of war?

That's not how you conduct a warning flight...or even a proper reconnaissance mission. Most probably, the pilots on your aircraft lost their way. No need for you all to get excited about that.

Most likely a plane lost its way. Happens plenty of times, but indian media is a propaganda machine who make a small incident a himalayan issue.

No pic was taken :sigh:
The only witness is your JAWAN acc to whon its a six winged.....
Don't worry it'll be a bluff or some tourist spycam quadcopter....
Sabb is a huge plane and even Bangla can get its heat signature if it enters there..

Big brother you too know what level of air defence do we possess as of now.

My comment was not that " shoot down each thing coming from that side " , but I was rather lamenting that " whoever comes will go back happily as we do not have a capability to take them down. "

Before you go on to say Spyder and Akash ,systems their primary job is taking care of IAF and IA installations and other important, areas.

We need a dense anti aircraft artillery / MANPADS/QR SAM along heavy surveillance all along our borders ( Green Pines won't tell what's happening few metres above the trees in dense forests of Kashmir ).

Pretty well versed in these shenanigans,

No.

Was not going to tell you. On the contrary, was going to tell you that either sides avoid engaging any helicopter/UAV along LC. The latter because it usually is too high and too near the LC to be able to engage before it re-enters its airspace and the former because at times the cross winds in higher reaches leaves only a deliberate ingress into the neighbouring as the only option to make an approach to own post in an emergency like casualty evacuation.

And, no, the RADARs are not inside a valley to be hindered by a tree.
