yup. Growing a strong economic might should be our focus. Once India becomes one of the top 3 economies who cares for UN. It would become a redundant organization if it does not adjust to the new world order. Veto power is as good as useless as major powers do will whatever they want with impunity.

As of now, the permenant members of the UNSC represent the most powerful nations in the world in 1947, it hasn't been representational for decades but every year that goes past without reform makes the UNSC look even more irrelevent.

Pakistan is not a major asian power for your knowledge.China have land and sea dispute with many countries and that is not new.Japan is a staunch ally of US but their relative power is decreasing because of their economy and low military spending.Japan is not that important as they are in a decade back with 2nd largest economy behind US.Tell me which country does not have issues in world stage, don't tell me sweden,finland etc as they are small country,few population and relatively small economy even though they are developed countries.

Major asian powers are china,japan,india and to less extend saudi arabia,korea,indonesia,turkey etc.
