Pakistan Needs J-20 If It Wants To Stand A Chance

China will not provide J20 to Pakistan until the relationship between US and Pakistan really get worst and they reduce their diplomatic relationship to an enemy level to make sure not a single percent chance of techinology leakage
is it your mind fart ?

im sorry to say this , but the subconscious me somehow agrees with this

Pakistan has been standing a chance since 1947 and going forward it will in the future too. Another thing is J-20 is not for export so the day dreaming should be ended. lastly Pak should focus on JF-17 for now and when J-31 is ready Pak should get a few squadrons of that.

No need of sending jf17 with j20 and india have no capabilties to detect stealth

Actually, there is nothing called stealth aircraft which CANNOT be detected. It is just that the detected object looks misleadingly small; an unwary radar operator might mistake it for some other object, or even overlook it altogether, as he will be looking for a certain shape and size.

In addition, you might like to look up the extensive work done by Indian technicians on ground-based radar, especially on AESA technology. There is a wealth of experience and of implementation, at least on the radar front.

Thirdly, my own recommendation (unlikely that an Indian will be heard, BUT...) would be to use the AWACS platform with its powerful radar systems to detect and identify targets. The reason is that J-20s are unlikely to be on offer from China to others, not just yet, anyway.

Our Airforce is targeting 7th Generation fighter jets I am sure they will overlook J20/J31

Just like there is no budget approval for Frigates
Just like there is no budget approval for Local Helicopter

Who will sign it when whole parliment is busy protecting Panama Hero

When we had efficient guy i.e Musharaf in power

a) We got economic projects done
b) We did Education projects
c) We got good solid investment in Defence products
d) We concluded some great projects or initiated some such as Gwadar etc

Ye Panama walo se , koi defence deal expectance too much to ask.
Zardari (5 Years) + Nawaz (Current 5 year) = Stagnation for Pakistan

Enemy is making Aircraft carrier and our Guy is PANAMA bazi ker raha hai

Whole parliment must be planning how to allow PM to go on a tour to Dubai and then he will leave for good to UK

J 20 with Pakistan will effect the strategic air balance in the sub continent.

India need to fasten PAK FA development with Russia and get them as soon as possible. This is the only option India has for a 5th Gen fighter.

India need to close F16/Gripen deal for 200 fighters, and should procure another 2 squadrons of Rafale

If PAF go for J-20 then it will be highly customized one as usual, because Pakistan always customize Chinese weapon systems and add new stuff as per requirements, therefore Pakistani J-20 will be different from Chinese one and may be more potent to because It can have TFX components and engine in it.

Why PAF need J-20? It doesn't need it for Air defence or CAP primary role will be SEAD/DEAD and Deep Strikes in enemy territory with using PGMs and standoff munition, it will allow PAF to hit targets which they are not able to approach since independence.

You also have to keep in mind that electronic jammers are threat to this type of technology. Also called Electronic Warfare.

Yes...what Pakistan lack is something that can hit deep into enemy's territory. J20 make sense in this regard. For India it is quite different. Majority of Pakistan live just on the other side of the border. What India need is something like F16/Gripen that operate efficiently and effectively, but to overwhelm PAF, India needs these fighters in large numbers.

If Pakistan plays it's cards well India will never be able to overwhelm Pakistan because UCAVs are cheap to built and even JFTs will be supported by UCAVs as force multiplier in all roles in future.

Until now, PAF has been very effective in defending its borders against IAF, but the geography of Pakistan has an disadvantage that will render PAF a defensive force. With the gap between India and Pakistan economies growing faster, it is to be seen how effective PAF will be to defend its border in future.

In terms of defending Pakistan air space PAF is quite capable of it and will be in future, as new advance systems are coming online, the issue is deep strike, SEAD/DEAD against very capable Indian air defence and here fighters like Su-35, EFT-T3B comes into consideration they both add robust strike and air defence capabilities but when it comes to J-20 it's a game changer in sub continent because even if IAF get FGFA or PAK FA the PAF will still be able to hit India hard with surprise element like 65, it will allow PAF to go for preemtive strikes which since 90s they can't do.

Yes, J20 will enhance PAF capabilities. Given the vast swaths of India, what Pakistan lacked was a twin engined deep strike fighter. This acquisition by Pakistan will certainly make India think on countering them.
