Pakistan military is slowly bleeding America to death in Afghanistan: Former US Army Colonel 26 Aug,

Who asked you to capture Afghanistan now relax and enjoy you dodged us for more than 70 years now you are at receiving end and crying

Uncle Sam needs Pakistan to bail him out in Afghanistan and there's cost he have to pay for this bailout package - That's reality, rest is usual moaning which serves no purpose other than making the negotiation more difficult for him.

easy way is to withdraw from afghanistan .taliban have no intention and capability to reach u.s mainland so why u.s is fighting with them

It's funny reading all the comments bashing the colonel or saying "scapegoating".

Like are you people for real or just low IQ?

This is a real fact and anyone who thinks otherwise is stupid tbh.

Yes, Pakistan has lost billions in this war but not against Afghan Taliban or by Afghan Taliban but by battling the Pakistani Taliban who were nurtured and sent to harm Pakistan by the CIA, Raw, and Mossad.

Pakistan in return has been returning the favor by providing shelter and support to the Afghan Taliban, and providing them the Intel and targets at times. If Pakistan wasn't bleeding Americans and NATO then they would have bled Pakistan to death. It's 5th Gen warfare and both sides are fighting a hard complex game.
May be too complex for some of your brains though ...

Because the so called war on terror was launched to make Pakistan look like what Syria is today. But we survived, because it's impossible to create a military and public divide within Pakistan no matter what media or tactics any one uses, and though the terror outfits tried their best to label Pakistan Army as some secular force hindering their way of Jihad, but it didn't really work out.

WASHINGTON DC - Pakistan has been playing a double role in Afghanistan while dealing with the Taliban, alleged a veteran United States army colonel, Lawrence Sellin.

Sellin, who has served in Afghanistan, northern Iraq and a humanitarian mission of West Africa, wrote in The Daily Caller that Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) provided arms and ammunition to Taliban fighters in October 2001, just after US bombing of Afghanistan began.

The then Pakistani President General Pervez Musharraf held a meeting with ISI director Lt. Gen. Mahmod Ahmed and other top brass of the army, who argued that Pakistan should not help the United States at all in its war against the Taliban and al-Qaeda.

"Pakistan has continued for seventeen years. While accepting billions of dollars in military and economic aid, Pakistan has been slowly bleeding the US to death in Afghanistan through its support of the Taliban, Haqqani Network, said colonel (retd.) Sellin.

America and it's allies have lost around 4,000 soldiers and over 20,000 US and NATO soldiers have been injured in Afghanistan.

Shortly before his death in 2015, Lt. General Hamid Gul, the former head of Pakistan's ISI, a committed Islamist and known as the "godfather of the Taliban", explained Pakistan's strategy in Afghanistan in an Urdu television interview.

"One day, history will say the ISI drove the Soviet Union out of Afghanistan with the help of USA and another sentence will be recorded that says the ISI drove the USA out of Afghanistan with the help of the USA".

says the world's biggest backstabber... just lol

once Amrika become unconscious due to excessive bleeding we will rape her and will surely do anal

If we accept this narrative, then it means that Pakistan defeated USA in Afghanistan.
Which is not true. USA is not that weak, is it?

Indeed. And someone should never be under an impression that playing double games are the monopoly of a single side. I guess ISIS in Afghanistan and their fight against the Taliban is not without any reason. :p:

Your reply generated mix signals in my brain :-). Anyhow.
Some people say Taliban are an anti-USA thing. I don't completely agree with it. Talibans are just balancing force in Afghanistan, even Indians use them.
Some people say ISIS is operating in Afghanistan, I say, some people who worked in Syria for ISIS might be. But the ISIS, the one which was created by USA on the wish of Israel, and in complete coordination with Europe, might not. These may be the mercenaries who are now jobless.
Some of these "Jihadis" fully equipped with "organizational behaviors" and are future entrepreneurs of many such organizations to come, may coordinate with Black Water. And this is the threat USA guys never talk about.
Pakistanis might be capable of just "double games". But USA is a qualified professional of n-tuple(n>2) games. And we know it. And we are not sheep.

Pakistan is front line state on war against terrorism. We Lost 65+ billion dollars in this war. Taliban & alqaida is also theat for Pakistan. We killed them in thousands.
We lost our thousands of soldiers in this war.
Afganistan is our neighbor, Stable Afghanistan is in the interest of Pakisan.
Lawrence Sillen is talking wrong and speaking lie, they want to blame Pakistan for their failure in Afganistan.

When retired ISI Director Generals like Hamid Gul user to openly brag about ISI punishing the Soviet Union and the US in Afghanistan on regular TV interviews, it doesn't help Pakistan's case.

In other words he is saying that with limited resources ISI n Pak army are defeating the mammoth sized CIA n US army with full of infinite coffers...
Perhaps uncle is on ISI's payroll...
On serious note, v should not evaluate the performance of US n Pak army&ISi just on the basis of "how much soldiers or equipment, dollars v lost in Afghanistan" but on the basis of GOAL achieved. Its open n covert objective r something which v will never understand. According 2 my theory, both countries' objectives r somewhat similar but collude after reaching at certain point..

Right...it's all good and jolly discussing possibilities...but when we discuss reality it's based on proof. Pakistan's loss of lives, financial losses, decade long war on terror can all be proven and backed up with cold hard data. In comparison all u find is some rants of ppl here and there saying Pakistan is playing a double game...where is the proof? Without proof it may as well be fiction.

Proof now: Abotabad. For a minute can you imagine OBL in a military garrison town with no knowledge of ISI or top brass of the military.

Pathological liars: rulers in Pak have lied about drone strikes where they show bravado but in the background lease airports to US for drone strikes

Pakistan's support to Haqqani Network: why is War on Terror selective without even going to Kashmir centric groups. If the intent was clear and all cards on the table then why the duplecy.

I can give you many more examples. Depends on whether I m wasting my time.

There is an approach we all know. Carrot or Sticks. They tried carrots for a decade now the other hand has a stick, they have run out of carrots and you have run out of foreign exchange. Perfect time for sticks. No?

whenever any US commander in Afghanistan returns home after show zero results and 100s of regrets in Afghanistan. They are asked questions about how "we the greatest most powerful country in the world" is getting beatings in Afghanistan"....they need a escape goat....well if it wasn't for Pakistan we would have won Afghanistan....who is the super power then??
