Pakistan is competitive test side but this number 1 ranking is because of Sri Lankhan white washed Aus 3-0 and India won series again WI. Its still close call between India, Aus and Pakistan if you look at rating points and can change any time soon depend on how these teams play their future test series...Pakistan badly need to improve their one days and t20 game

India thought they could keep us down and screw us over, yet Pakistan were resilient and even though we have not played a home match for the best part of a decade we overcame all obstacles to reach the top!!


To india your lesson is that you may think you have all the money and planning, IPL, big 3 nonsense etc but do not ever underestimate the resilience and will of the Pakistani nation!

Yeah and if you also take out Tuesday, any indian losses on the weekend, indian losses when the stars weren't aligned in India's favour snd days when Sachin had a belly ache from eating too much popadoms. India's record is unbeatable

Yes did check and Pakistan still leads by 1-2 matches since 2000 . Pakistan has the best winning percentage of any asian side in history in both ODI's and Tests . As for T20 we have won a world cup in it and semi finalists in alot of them .

I know you want to avoid 80s and 90s as that wasn't such an exciting time to be an Indian Fan . If it weren't for tendulkar in that era india would have been similar to Bangladesh .

This ranking is based on results of recent test matches. Pakistan is not doing bad in test matches considering having no advantage of home grounds and support
