PAK wants to have normal relations with India: Air Chief

Pakistan had multiple centre of power, Unless all power agree with PAF chief we can't conclude Pakistan want peace with India..

Same is true about India. Let one of your power-centers receive this message with warmth.

Think about these things logically, with cold calculations and not emotional hum-drums.

Let me ask a simple question - What does India gain by compromising the tiniest iota with Pakistan?

Nothing.

There has to be a benefit for India as well for any development right? What benefit does India get? Tangible benefit?

I was called sociopath for asking exactly same question.
Pleace is quite broad word, what kind of relation does pakistan want from India. And does India have any incentive to take relation to that level?(especially incentive to the political leadership)
Any change in our relation needs spending of some political capital, and the return needs to be good enough.

Same is true about India. Let one of your power-centers receive this message with warmth.
What are the power centers in India? Other than civilian leadership?

Its funny when you guys give example of Mussharaf who was tyrant and a literal backstabber.

1. Who was responsible for Kargil after Vajapyee's bus journey to pakistan?
2. Under whose watch did the 2002 indian parliament attacks happened?
3. Who gave the false promise to dismantle all kashmiri terrorist organizations operating in Pakistan?
4. Musharaff was the Chief Executive of pakistan until 2007 and in 2008 we had the ghastly mumbai attacks. Surely it would have taken years to plan such an operation and it would have happened under Musharaf watch.

So it is India who should be pondering whether it should even try to make peace with a country like Pakistan who has always tried to create 'death through thousand cuts' as Zia famously remarked.

Look at your post, esp point number 2 and the media-fed nonsense is evident.
Then your wonderful analysis in point 4 is also well understood to be some Shiv Senik/Modi mentality that has found its way here.

The magnificent Zaid Hamid seems to be person you might want to debate with.

PAK wants to have normal relations with India: Air Chief

We have been hearing the above for too long. Atal Bajpayi came to Lahore for friendship, but his bus got diverted to Kargil by Musharaf!

That's how Sensible and educated Air chiefs of any country behave instead of Indian AF brownies and other airchiefs war mongering statments. Our AF chief is just educating Indian AF's on how to speak sensibly when you open your mouth.

It is abundantly clear that India does not want peace in the Region.
Musharraf, who was the military and civilian leader bent over backwards to come to peace but even then they refused.

Personally I think Pakistan should just maintain a strong military to deter India and look north, west, and south for it's future.

 Who? The very same Musharraf who attacked India just after the two PM's has started talks? Sure he bent over backwards and it is India's fault they did not take the sign.

Right and what you will do?? keep increasing your consulates in the mountains of Afghanistan, so they can promote terrorism in Pakistan as they are already doing it.Also poking your nose in Balochistan.Give your suggestions to your own government.Or else we will be paying you back with interest. No justice no peace.

what Indian consulates have to do with Kashmir? :hitwall: Baluchistan is very far. Lets not move like that and do illogical arguments.

There will be no peace between the two countries until both sides refrain from killing the border troops for at least 10 years. Otherwise, all talks are useless because any such incident would derail any peace process. First, stop all these senseless murders and then talk peace.

Lool India refused? lool the reality is Indian PM Vajpeyi and Musharraf were both really close to coming to a conclusion but the thing is in Pakistan is no government lasts long enough to come to any conclusion. And the successive government starts talks from square one. Whereas in India it's not the case.

What sane air chief we have-

His indian counterparts are stupid war mongers-
Its about training and Professionalism. The roasted Brown look much more like a puppet.

It has a lot to do with Kashmir.Keep hitting your head you may get it.

I bet it does after realising the development IAF is experiencing

Development, hmmm you mean flying coffins.

We saw PA's professionalism in Kargil and 1965. Do not advocate about it. In an international forum, everybody talk like that.
