There are said to be 305 pilots worldwide who have accomplished 3000 hours of flying on the F-16 Vipers. Group Captain Umer Rasheed was the OC of his unit which participated in the Red Flag Exercise, the same time as the Israelis were there.

Multiple ID Rat ALERT!

Too bad this pussy doesn't have anything to brag about.

Gp Capt. Umer led his Team to Red Flag.

Here's what USAF think of #walterbibikow's unit at Red Flag...

Obviously..., Indians weren't all to happy 'bout this leaked footage & demanded an apology - boo-fucking-who.

But, the damage was done - not that it mattered 'cause everyone knows the capability of the IAF: TRASH.

Oh what the hell - @walterbibikow

One takeaway from this is ... BVR/missile shots can be jammed, thus forcing jets into a merge.

at the merge, this is where we excel and have been doing well since the 1965 war, with "inferior planes" against "superior IAF planes". This is where our friend @walterbibikow needs some education: Please allow me to share some pearls of wisdom with you.

Experienced pilots like Archer, M.M Alam, Rafique, Cecil, Bhatti, Daudpotta, Sherbat Ali Changazi, Saiful Azam, Salim Baig Mirza, Amir Ali Sharif, Hatmi, Masood Amir, Nauman, Hasan, (I can keep going btw) were kicking your behind all day long!

Abhinandon famously said that its the attitude that makes IAF pilot the real deal, WE DISAGREE just a lil bit, It's the Experience!

Didn’t he accomplish that over a year ago already?

Indians have practiced the merge very well too and now the majority of their fleet is equipped with both aircraft and weapons which make merging with them lethal.
What the Indians did commit lapses on was not realizing how much the PAF was focusing on BVR post 2004 and pivoting its training knowing full well that the merge is a poor option in the engagement

Hi,

Merge gives a superior aircraft disadvantage over an inferior aircraft and chnages the game to 50/50.

The US first encountered the russian Hobs missile after e germany broke away and the american F16's could combat train against the Mig 29 with HOBS missile---. That is when the americans found out what Hobs missile could do---.

Possibly then they seriously focused on the BVR combat---. Otherwise the americans would have developed a hobs missile real quick---.

Then comes the Paf---it was so obvious with the order of 500 amraam missiles that the Paf was also headed towards the BVR combat---and considered the wvr too dangerous for pilots.

The americans---the Paf---and some others did not like the %age kill of wvr combat---otherwise the americans would have the hobs missile and Paf would not have ordered so many amraams---.

Why would they order 500 amraams and be training the hardest for bvr combat---.

A highly professional air force trains its pilots for all aspects of air & ground combat---even though many may consider it obsolete or whatever---.

Why does navy train its officer to use a hand held sextant even to this day when all the technology is available at their disposal---.

AIM-9X is a HOBS missile though.

According to his philosophy the size of the moustache decides how big a fighter pilot you are and how much beating you can take on ground after ejecting.

Hi,

& so is PL10---amongst a few others---. We have shifted the balance of power now---it has become more even

Success in modern day combat is to deny the enemy aircraft their mission---that would be the first step---.
