PAC And HAL Good Paint Job or Workmanship

And the canopy has a handle attached for the ground crew to open and shut it manually.

so you don't want people to open canopy from outside.....?
Wow so pathetic. 1.4 billion bhangees cannot even make a decent plane that can flight. Whereby the JF-17 has been doing fly bys at our national parades for over a decade now :D
you should probably start looking for its replacement on a priority basis....

Wrong. The raw sheet metal and alloys are procured against international tenders. Go look at PAC tenders. Also look at the machines at PAC, better than any thing HAL has. Suppose they are just for show.
You call those machines .Hell the body panel round the corner from me has better and modern machines than the clueless screwdrivermen walking about the KAMRA "factory" . It looks like and is a show for the stupid who will swallow any bullshit.

The metal alloy that JF-17 was made in China. It was rolled into panels in China. It was pressed and shaped in China. It was screwed together partly in China. Final screw and paint in Pakistan
Hopefully you will see the production lime one day
Should I post the pic of JF-17 fitted with Door hinges at the Cockpit canopy? Paintjob? Any aircraft flying faces wear and tear, and paint in some areas start to fade whichever the aircraft is. Wonder how desperate people are to open threads on who paints their aircraft best? PAC or HAL?
Emphasis is on flying mere dost.. 1700hs of Tejas flying vs 19000hs of JF Flying should give you and idea why emphasis on flying is needed here..

And as for JF17 Door hinges they work properly.. thats what they are needed for...

Indians on PDF, due to their nature, often refer to products such as JF-17 built in Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) as a mere paint job. Albeit the sheer frustration and heartburn is understandable. However, since the Indians claim that their LCA Tejas is indigenous and pride product of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) . Let's compare the two respective aircraft for their paint job and workmanship.

Tejas, Excellent paint job.

But a close look at the aircraft reveals some average workmanship.

Underneath the aircraft, it seems like patchwork and gun casing and surrounding has very basic if not poor finish.

Hope that clears the doubt as who is good at paint jobs and who is professional in workmanship. :D
That exposed welding and poor quality paint job of TejAss looks very bad workmanship, any roadside car mechanic in Karachi could have done a better welding and paint job.

Some saner Indians (oxymoron here) waking up to the reality...

Nah its not a show produced by indian media for andhbhakts...

PAC uses state of art machinery to produce JF17 mate... and those are machine not just shown in these old but in videos too.. and please do send those who have modern machines to Tejas production facility too..

Tejas uses composites that are baked inside an autoclave...so no we don't need to weld or screw or use hacksaw blades like certain other people

No need to argue with these simple Sunils since no fighter aircraft is complete without Coconuts and Lemons.

The shocking thing in ALL of this is that 1.4 billion indians cannot make a fighter jet without MASSIVE help from the West and Russia........ :disagree:
