The execution

In 2019, former prime minister and PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was arrested by NAB in the LNG import contract case, under Imran’s government. The PML-N, crying political victimisation, said Imran Khan was manifesting “vengeance” against it. At the time of Abbasi’s arrest, Ahsan Iqbal questioned the role of the Rangers, to which a NAB official reportedly said that the Rangers had “no special assignment” and were only there to offer additional security.

Given that the NAB ordinance allows any agency to offer it assistance, as needed, the paramilitary’s role in Abbasi’s arrest was perhaps unsurprising.

Also under Imran’s government, and in a more public and dramatic display of coercive cooperation, the Rangers came to NAB’s assistance for the arrest of Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz on their return to Lahore in July 2018. According to reports, as many as 2,000 Rangers personnel were deployed in and around the Lahore airport when the arrest took place. Both the Rangers and NAB officials were reportedly involved in the arrests of Nawaz and Maryam, and their teams escorted the PML-N leaders off the plane.

Amusing how the Pishteens Pukhtun nationalist movement was able to openly mock abuse the army and very little was done to stop them.

BTW another shamless thing by lumber 1 is that people which were killed in the protest by lumber 1 / they are refusing to hand over the bodies to the families unless they register cases against the PTI

Wtf

IK wasted a significant amount of time & failed to properly articulate his expectations from his voters/supporters and followers. Once he was arrested, everyone was clueless... When you knw that the entire party revolves around one, and that all support stems from you and not from anyone else in the party, and that your followers won't support any other leadership after you, its crucial to have a single-line plan and communicate it before any such situation arises.

IMO, whatever the mil is doing was inevitable. The issue is that the general public is unaware. Everyone knows that they have weapons that u dont have, so you must develop a clear strategy & execute it before its tooo late. It has been a year since you have done many jalsas etc you know that the entire system is hijacked by these criminals, so I fail to understand why you are prolonging this for so long.... for what? do you and your party have any strategy in place?

What is the ideology of PTI? I do not see any ideology, direction, or plan in place. When you keep attacking the most powerful entity in the state u must have a plan in case of retaliation.... Now they are using the entire system against u and ur people, and everyone is clueless about what to do...

In history, PTI is the only party that has had such broad support from the masses, including the middle, elite, and lower classes. Bhutto only had support from the lower class (mostly gareeb/uneducated), who were not able to stand up against the powerful like IK/PTI.

Quick question for all Faujeets

How did army acquire Jinnah House?

As did they captur Attock Fort, Bala Hisar Fort, Peshawar, Noor Mahal, Gulzar Mahal, Bahawalpur and numeral other buildings.

It was rented to Army in 1948 by Syed Maratab Ali, later in 2007 it was revealed in official documents that it was owned by Jinnah so Army stopped paying monthly rent of Rs.500 and stated that Army bought this house in 1966 from Ms. Fatima Jinnah for Rs.3.5 million.

When I was a student in 1991 in Garrison Boys, there was a deep hole in front of this building because till 2007 there was a stay for building and multy story mall, Mall of Lahore, Nawaz Sharif built the Shama Chowk in 1992 with logo of Ialif Laam Meem and i suggested at that time it is IJI (the name of political party). After Jinnah house controversy stay was vacated in favour of Malik Riaz.

East India Company confiscated it, Jinnah filed a case but failed to get the possession during his lifetime. After his death, the ownership got transferred to the sons of East India Company aka Pak Army.

You gotta commend the PDM for their strategy though. Whatever happens now, they are gonna play a victim card. Let rangers pick up IK, all people see is uniform, let peeps go against military (who would've thought), if it's a martial law, "bs ye hafte me thek hojani thi economy, abu Nawaz ye sb set kr rhe thy, L lga gyi army or PTI", if chief is dethroned, "fouj hakumat nahe chlne deti", if sleeping beauty (cjp) removes the pm or calls the election, "adalati coup, haye haye koi kam nae kran denda san", if PTI is banned, Noora is gonna come to Pakistan flipping, prince of Pak for a reason he is, bhar*a. And if elections are delayed or there's a civil war it happened cuz of PTI. Somebody should put kursi in their kabar when they die if they want it so bad. Win win for them at the cost of Pak.
