hotel in the United Kingdom has told the Pakistan International (PIA) Airlines that it would not rent rooms to the airline’s crew anymore, Express News reported.

The hotel told the national flag carrier that female guests at the hotel felt insecure in the presence of PIA’s male crew.

It added that it had received multiple complaints of the airline’s male staff asking female guests at the hotel for their phone numbers.

Therefore, the management added, it would not rent rooms to PIA’s male crew until action was taken against those involved in pestering female guests at the hotel.

Heroin found on PIA flight to London

In May this year, British authorities had confirmed that heroin was found on a PIA flight at London’s Heathrow airport. Subsequently, the passports of the flight crew had been confiscated.

The National Crime Agency of Britain is still investigating the discovery of narcotics from the Islamabad-London flight, PK-785.

Similarly, in February, a Heathrow-bound PIA aircraft was intercepted and escorted by British warplanes to Stansted airport in northeast London because of a ‘vague security threat’.

Later, a suspect was arrested and charged with fraud and misrepresentation by Metropolitan Police.

LONDON: The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) was told by a hotel in the United Kingdom that it would not rent rooms to the airline’s crew anymore, as the female guests at the hotel felt insecure in the presence of PIA’s male crew.

According to a private TV channel report, the hotel management added that it had received multiple complaints of the airline’s male staff asking female guests at the hotel for their phone numbers. Therefore, the PIA’s male crew was barred from the hotel.

In May this year, the British authorities had seized a large amount of heroin from Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) PK-785 in an intelligence-based operation.

There is no reason to ask for phone number, when they are meeting them in hotel itself.

May be these guys are trying to charm females for favours like Bussiness or some thing.

Fools. They asked the numbers to provide security.
Yes Pia has authority to provide security in U.K.

these maroons will not learn . i am sure in new hotel they will do same or something more worse . tharki saaly

like male members of other airlines do not go looking for romantic liaisons, those paragons of virtue and honour. When was asking women for their numbers or asking for a date was banned and termed illegal or was a security issues for women in the UK. Harassment is a different matter and if these PIA were harassing women at the hotel then don't just ban them they should also be prosecuted.
