New Thunder with 9 Hardpoints

I have written about fixed wings pylons somewhere else here in some detail.

Correct but say the full sentence

It is a major structural re-arrangement to the wing structure.

But a dual rack, helps you concentrate on other parts and not wait for the wing to be re-designed.

Pictures from Chinese websites showing JF-17 supporting multiple SD-10s on two extra hard points in addition to the seven seen in the image in the back ground.

Is this aircraft the Block 1/2 model with a wingspan of 8.5 meters or does it have an increased wingspan at 9.456 meters like the B model shown earlier this year???
If and a big if, this particular aircraft has an increased wingspan than it could be the Block 3 iteration and the earlier two blocks might not be able to carry the multiple ejector racks because of missile getting too close to the external fuel tank.
Am I right?

If 17 wingspan mixup

1 wingspan w/o wingtip sidewinder 8.5 m
2 wingspan with wingtip sidewinder ~9 meter Counting sidewinder fins as extension of wing see picture above

Now block two daul seater official specs can clarify its wing span so far mostly un official specs on the web

The actual no. Of hard points in a block 3 will be 10.
If u include the chin mounted pod

What is the source of this info 10 means 2 under wing plus one under intake ??

You cannot have 10 with two under intake and existing 7 ?? As one is out of sync

the yellow lines on nose are new....

Nah, just more visible in some pictures than in others.

Increasing hard points won't change max load carrying capacity..Right ? So what's the point of increasing it ?
IMO 1 × 200kg bomb is better than 2×100 kg bombs .. @volatile @MastanKhan

For the Block-3 variant there will be an increase in max load carrying capacity since it will have a more powerful engine (RD-93MA/WS-13E) and there are weight reductions expected from greater use of composites.

That's a different scenario. But on the existing frame it will not be applocappl. Right ?
