Pakistan Muslim League-N supremo Nawaz Sharif has directed Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah to take every possible step to avert dissolution of the Punjab Assembly.

Rana Sanaullah, in a telephonic conversation, briefed Nawaz Sharif on legal and constitutional means to stop Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi from dissolving the provincial assembly.
Sources privy to the development said the PDM was mulling over a no-confidence motion against CM Elahi, which would be submitted after approval from Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz. Nawaz Sharif and party’s chief organiser Maryam Nawaz had expressed displeasure with party’s provincial leadership after Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi secured the vote of confidence on Thursday.

The question is how? What are the legal ways? Governor can only delay 24-48 hours, after that it will happen automatically. Also, how can they now pass a no-confidence motion against Elahi when he just got the confidence vote? Moreover, as I understand in a no-confidence motion it is the opposition that will have to show its numbers but again they do not have the required number. If they try to break away PTI or Q league members, their votes won't count after the supreme court judgment.
Rana, as usual, is firing from his behind, and Nawaz being the chutia that he always has been, is on "Main na mano" zid like an establishment's spoiled brat.
