When an order is placed, it is done so for a fixed price and capabilities of the aircraft.

If Myamar expects changes in the radar, then that would mean change in the price as well.

I doubt this is the case.
there are many options.we dont know detail info of the contract. so the price may be fixed. but it wont be difficult to revise the price as we already had further negotiation to expend the deal. there is also a rumour that AF already interested in block 3. may be block 2 with radar upgraded if the blk 3's production is too long.

@Aung Zaya
Hi probably Myanmar was waiting for twin seater also as they need their pilots to be trained
On twin seater By the way what kind of plane your airforce is using to train your fighter pilots
Thank you
currently we use K-8 as main trainer and we have 30+ of them. and also have assembly line for them and still assembling more units. as LIFTs we also used 6 yak-130 and ordered more 6 units. bro

You are celeberating selling weapons totally 'Buddhist' regime that is 'eradicating' your fellow muslim brethren? Where is the actual (not verbal) solidarity i have been hearing about from many members on here? :D
Dear Sir,
The international politics has no ethical values whether Syria or Myanmar, the economic/political issues have more weight age. The JF17 is a JV, Pak do not have veto power, moreover Muslims can do much better by collaborating with Myanmar Govt rather to go in conflict. The social issues are being gradually resolved, the whole issue goes back to British rule just like Kashmir issue.
