Great map, thanks for sharing.

I want to post this information, once posted by another member here.

In Punjab:

Tehsils that were transferred to India where Muslims were in absolute majority :
• Firozpur Jhirka (78.79% Muslims)
• Zira - (65.26 % Muslims)
• Ajnala - (59.46 % Muslims, 37% Hindus and Sikhs)
• Nakodar - (59.41% Muslims)
• Nuh - (57.8 % Muslims)
• Ferozpur - (55.25% Muslims)
• Batala - (55.07 % Muslims)
• Gurdaspur - (52.16% Muslims)
• Jalandhar - (51.1 % Muslims)
The most significant objections regarding the Radcliffe Award were that the tehsils of Ferozepur and Zira in Ferozepur districts, Nakodar and Jalandhar in Jalandhar district, Ajnala in Amritsar district and Gurdaspur and Batala in Gurdaspur district had Muslim majority and were almost contiguous to West Punjab, yet they were given to East Punjab or the Indian Punjab.

Tehsils transferred to India where Muslims were the largest religious group :
• Dasuya - 48.35% Muslims
• Amritsar - 45.49% Muslims
• Hoshiarpur - 45.09% Muslims
• Fazilka - 43.3% Muslims
• Muktsar - 42.79% Muslims
• Ludhiana - 39.27% Muslims

Well shit happened, and we have been more screwed by our own in the history so far then Brits or Hindus.
The thing is we got a land of our own, now we can make it worth it or we can screw it over and we have been busy screwing it over for quite long enough.
We as Muslims don't dwell on what happened or what could have happened, it was how our Creator wanted it and no one could change it when He planned it this way.
We only talk about what we can do today and tomorrow to make things better through our rightly intended efforts and help from Allah.

The question is, are we worthy of help from Allah? Are we worthy of being given authority over lands?

And the biggest bullshit, we don't ever talk about that but we keep talking about how the Arabs, the Americans, the Israelis, and the Hindus are busy screwing us over. And while we keep doing that, we will keep being screwed because that's what we deserve tbh.

We keep getting screwed, because we are screw ups as a people, we have black shit in our hearts, and given the chance 90% or more of us will loot the country just as much as the elite has been.

So Islamic Fort of what???

we need to come out of fantasies like Pakistan is a islam ka Qila or 1 momin 10 kafiroun se ladh le ga .... first of all Islam exists prior the birth of Pakistan and Pakistanis gained indepence in 1947 and Mohammad Bin Qasim was a army general sent by Hajaj bin Yousaf to liberate not sindh but muslim traders who were imprisoned by raja dahir of sindh ... history is very simple we Pakistanis confuse things which is wrong .. anyways now we have Pakistan what have we done with it ??? seriously we have drained its resources we have destroyed the land we have polluted our country we have given it a bad name through our acts and we created divisions in our country on the name of religion ..... THINK !!! how to get out of this mess and THINK what is your contribution to make Pakistan a better place

I'm kind of glad Gurdaspur didn't go to Pakistan, because it contains the city of Qadian which is special for us but the Mullas and their followers might have desecrated it, including the grave of a great Muslim reformer.

So perhaps there was a Divine wisdom in keeping Gurdaspur in India, even though people didn't understand it at the time, now with the rise of crazed Mullas especially TLP types, we can in hindsight appreciate that decision of respected Radcliffe.
