It seems like another country if you compare to the current situation. Good job America,Pakistan and Saudi barbaria to destroy a forward looking country by creating and nurturing savage taliban pigs.:tsk:

The truth is that Afghanistan was just as backwards then, as it is today. A few pictures and videos aren't proof of modernity, simply because a vast majority (at least 70%) of Afghanistan's population are rural residents, not urban. They've also been very VERY poor.

This idea that Afghan women were somehow more free, is not only flase, but complete and utter propaganda. Tribalism didn't just come into existence after Pakistan was born, it existed for well over a thousand years, in the region.

In the end, Afghans did this to themselves, not Pakistan, not KSA, and not the USA.

Yes the Taliban were created as soon as Pakistan was formed, and had nothing to do with the Russian invasion. It surprises me how 1992 beginning has no significance in any other terms to you then this.

you know the wonderful thing is you do not once blame the invading army when you lay blame on America and Pakistan.
sad set of affairs, these are with people these days.
Explaining the tribal culture is akin to explaining the theory of relativity here, ie it is useless.

This modernity was only limited to a few people of Kabul, if the majority were like this then Afghanistan would have never become what it is now.

That was the elite class of Afghanistan .. Not the real afghans .. It was the rural Afghanistan that rose up against Soviets and soviet installed bloody parchami thugs !

You don't keep your doors open at night, and then complain that robbers got in; the problem with Afghanistan is that they've never been united. In fact, invading forces have always made the same mistake, when trying to conquer Afghanistan; they assumed that Afghans were a united people.

If you look at Afghanistan's history, for the longest time, there has not been an era where Afghanistan has not had an internal conflict.

So, I can hardly blame invading forces for something that has existed in Afghanistan for the longest time.

Whatever, the point being why blame Pakistan all the time... another false flag with another Pakistan ruined Afghanistan thread. They are really getting old fast.
