Military ops starting in Swat

Since you're from the area can you please explain it in depth?
What do you mean?

Can you explain more clearly and in greater detail, sir?
Reports suggest that he was hit by 7.62mm Nato rounds in close range and mind you he is a veteran in fighting terrorists and has fought against them during peak militancy and now he does not know how fight them even not taking inspector or other SHOs with them to a place where phone signals dont work

Who are we talking about?

Taliban in AFG is better then a pro india AFG government with 300k strong army and international support.
AFG Taliban it self is many factions with each factions having different views on Pakistan. There’s a specific faction which is very anti Pakistan and wants war with us. But there is also factions which are pro pak. Pak has ties with such factions so much so that 313 Badri was trained by us and their intelligence trained by us. 313 Badri being mostly Punjabi or Pakhtuns mostly Afridis.
The recent killing of 5 ttp commanders in AFG or all those other killings of ttp in AFG wasn’t done alone by us. They were possible because we had help of groups there.
Even ttp is many factions in it with many who don’t get along with Afghan Taliban.

Afghan Taliban is better for Pakistan than a pro India internationally recognized and conventionally strong Afghanistan.

Don’t think any operation will take place.
Afghans take time to come to a decision because it has to be a consensus they all can live with and stand behind. Hopefully the Afghans will realize it is in their long term interests to work on economic projects with Pakistan ASAP. It’s the best way to ensure their security from a number of angles.

Are you giving credence to the allegation that he went there to harass or shake them down, while they were minding their business, and as a result they retorted??

AW-139 is another suitable candidate.

@FuturePAF

We discussed UH-1 as a base platform to be acquired in high numbers, the operating altitude is lesser than many.

Last time PAA Mi-17 used this E/O sensor.

Dots connected when you consider this post I made:

Thread 'Interesting IED' https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/interesting-ied.744064/

Several high level Tali's now operating in Pakistan. Just remember Afghan Taliban released 10,000 Taliban prisoners held captive in various jail's of Afghanistan.

Guess where those are headed? And yes they have an axe to grind.
Very informative thread with your inputs. Need more like these than political mumbo jumbo.
