Manipur : Hindu vs Christian civil war

When they convert they get access to missionary schools, scholarships, seats in well run colleges and a well knit community. The Christian community cares for its own unlike the Hindus and Muslims.
You are wrong. Christians missionaries convert the poor by offering financial incentives. After converting them they brainwash them to hate other religions. When they realise that the new convert won't abandon Christianity, the money stops flowing.

The western white Christian want brown Christians who will be subservient towards the west.

The Christians of India more loyal towards the West than India.

Don't understand. Explain
Just spouting some conspiracy-sounding rubbish.

Since the only Muslims there are Meitei Pangals (hilarious usage! I am a Bangal myself), they can't blame the Muslims. Christians are the next best scapegoats.

Christian tribes are opposing Schedule Tribe status for Hindu Meitei tribe.

Hindus have been killed by Christian militants. Temples destroyed. Ethnic cleansing of Hindus from Christian majority areas.

Hindu strongman Modi is nowhere to be seen.

India's social problems seems to make China's look like a child's play.
China isn't as diverse as India. China does not let foreign religions like Christianity and Islam flourish. The average Chinese is far more intelligent than an average Indian.

China produced a warrior-politician like Mao. India produces arm chair warrior - politicians like Nehru and Modi.

China doesn't have any problems, social or otherwise. CCP is best government, just ask @beijingwalker and @Foinikas :D
I don't remember seeing him post a thread about some accident or riot or problem in China. It's always about Japan,South Korea,Vietnam,Australia,USA,some European countries. And I ask him "why did you post this?" ...I mean, what's the reason. What does it serve? Why did you even take the time to post this. And he can't answer. His brain is blocked. It's like a bot that can't compute more than a certain number of replies.

Christian militias armed with automatic rifles are marching throught the streets of Manipur terrorizing local Hindus.

Manipuri Hindus are begging for help from the mainland Hindus.

But Modi Bhakts are saying that the Christian Terrorists are at the recieving end.

Manipur Violence: Manipur Tribal Forum moves Supreme Court alleging violence has BJP support; seeks SIT probe
Apart from the PIL, another petition has also been filed before the apex court BJP MLA Dinganglung Gangmei challenging the March 27 order of the Manipur High Court on grant of ST status to the Meitei community.

Amidst ensuing clashes in the State of Manipur, a public interest litigation (PIL) petition was filed before the Supreme Court on Saturday seeking directions to the Central and State governments to evacuate the Manipuri Tribals who had fled to CRPF camps and to ensure they reach their residence safely under security escort [Manipur Tribal Forum vs Union of India]

The PIL filed by Manipur Tribal Forum alleged that the attacks on tribal communities in Manipur has the full support of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) which is in power in the State as well as at the Centre.

"These attacks had the full support of the party in power (Indian People's Party, BJP) at the State as well as the Centre which supports the dominant group and has planned the attacks on account of a non-secular agenda which is contrary to the provisions of the Constitution of India," the petition said.

The PIL further alleged that 30 tribal persons were killed by the dominant community and 132 were injured but no first information report (FIR) has been registered so far in relation to any of these.

"Neither FIR was registered nor is there any investigation taking place as the police itself is on the side of the dominant community and has stood by idle while the killings took place," it was submitted.

The petitioner, therefore, prayed for a Special Investigation Team to be constituted headed by Harekrishna Deka, former Director General of Police of Assam and monitored by Chief Justice Tinlianthang Vaiphei, former Chairman of Meghalaya State Human Rights Commission so that the accused who assaulted the tribals could be prosecuted.

The current clashes and violence in Manipur has stemmed from the opposition of certain tribes to the demand by the majority Meitei community to grant them Scheduled Tribes status.

On April 19, 2023, Manipur high court had ordered the Manipur government to “consider inclusion of the Meetei/Meitei community in the Scheduled Tribe list, expeditiously, preferably within a period four weeks” from the date of the order.

This led to clashes between tribal and non-tribal communities.

The PIL before the top court has also prayed for directions to the Central Forces to immediately make secure and safe the areas where the tribals are currently residing such as New Lambulane, Chekon, Games Village, Paite Veng, Lamphel, Langol, Mantripukhri, Chingmairong, Dulahlane, Langthabal.

Further, the PIL has sought directions to reconstruct the churches which were impacted by the violent clashes.

The PIL was filed through advocate Satya Mitra and drawn by advocates Hetvi Patel and Kaoliangpou Kamei.

Apart from the PIL, another petition has also been filed before the apex court by the Hill Areas Committee Chairperson and BJP MLA Dinganglung Gangmei challenging the March 27 order of the Manipur High Court on Scheduled Tribe status for the Meitei community.

This petition has said that there is no proposal for the inclusion of Meiteis pending with the Central government and that no such proposal has ever been sent by the State to the Union government.

Imphal:
One policeman was killed and four others were injured on Thursday when suspected militants opened fire at them near Tera Khongfangbi in Bishnupur district, about 50 km south of Imphal, officials said.
The condition of one of the injured police personnel is critical, they said.
The incident took place a few km away from Torbung, where the recent violence in the state had first erupted.

Police have launched a combing operation to flush out the militants from the area, the officials said.
Meanwhile, two persons were allegedly abducted by suspected militants in Toribung, a police officer said.
"The duo had gone to fetch foodgrains from their ransacked home when they were abducted. A search operation has been launched to trace them," he said.
Violent clashes broke out in the northeastern state after a 'Tribal Solidarity March' was organised in the hill districts on May 3 to protest against the Meitei community's demand for Scheduled Tribe (ST) status.
The officials added that curfew has been further relaxed in all the 11 districts where it was clamped, by six hours from the earlier duration of five hours.
The curfew timings vary in these districts.

In another development, 100 trucks travelling from Dimapur to Imphal, carrying essential commodities, were stopped by mobs at different places in North Kangpokpi district, they said.

By India Today News Desk: As the situation improves a little in Manipur, the violence has now spread to Delhi. A group of Kuki students residing in the Delhi University North Campus area alleged that they were attacked by a group of Meiteis on Thursday night.

According to the Kuki students, a group of around 30 people surrounded three women and a few men who had accompanied them after a prayer meeting in the Patel Chest area. The women were on their way home to their PGs after attending the prayer meeting when the group of almost 30 people stopped them and asked for their IDs.

The group then spoke in Meiteilon and that is how the students realised that they were Meitei. The Meiteis also took away the phones of the students, they claimed.

A student told India Today that the group then started assaulting the men who had accompanied the women home and also threatened to rape the women.
The assault only stopped after a police patrolling the area spotted them, said the student.

The following day, on Friday, the students tried to register an FIR at the Maurice Nagar Police Station. After the police refused to register the FIR, the students staged a protest outside the police station.
The incident in Delhi follows the violence in Manipur between the Meiteis and the Kuki tribe that erupted after a rally by the All Tribal Students Union of Manipur (ATSUM) on May 3. Violence has gripped the entire state for several days and the central government had to deploy 14 paramilitary forces to bring the situation under control.

US calls on India to condemn religious violence

The United States wants India to condemn persistent religious violence, a senior official said Monday, one month before a state visit by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The State Department on Monday released an annual report on religious freedom which listed attacks against religious minorities including Muslims and Christians in the billion-plus nation led by Modi’s Hindu nationalists.
A senior US official, briefing reporters on the report on customary condition of anonymity, spoke of India’s “vast potential” and said he was “saddened” by the persistence of religious violence.

“Regarding these concerns, we’re continuing to encourage the government to condemn violence and hold accountable (those) who engage in rhetoric that’s dehumanizing towards religious minorities,” the official said.
The official promised to speak “directly” with Indian officials and said: “We’ll continue to work very closely with our civil society colleagues on the ground (and) with courageous journalists that are working every day to document some of these abuses.”
The State Department report, based on direct research as well as accounts by media and advocacy groups, pointed to concerns about home demolitions against Muslims and public flogging by police of Muslims accused of injuring Hindus in the state of Gujarat.
New Delhi has long hit back at American criticism of religious freedom, particularly by the autonomous US Commission on International Religious Freedom, which earlier this month once again recommended that the State Department put India on a blacklist over its record.
Later this year Secretary of State Antony Blinken will list “countries of particular concern” on religious freedom but it is virtually certain he will spare India, with which the United States has been building warmer relations for decades, partly as a bulwark against China.
Blinken, presenting the report, did not mention India as he voiced alarm by actions by authorities in China, Iran, Myanmar and Nicaragua.
“We defend the right to believe — or to not believe — not only because it’s the right thing to do, but also because of the extraordinary good that people of faith can do in our societies and around the world,” he said.

😂😂😂😂 Now your after christians
