Honda launches an India-specific retro motorcycle with a great package, an ugly name, and an uglier badge. Finally realised what works in India.

How much is it?
Around 2 Lakhs ex-showroom. On road can go up to 2.5 Lakhs for higher variant I think.

Engine wise it goes against the cheaper Royal Enfield Classic 350. But price wise, the customer may think of the 3-3.5 Lakhs RE 650 twins, which isn't bad quality.

Announced prices for CB350 as of now are 1.85 lakh and 1.90 lakh, ex-showroom.

In other news, BMW has decided to go mainstream with the new G310R and G310GS pricing and design. 2.45 lakh and 2.85 lakh ex-showroom. These are made in India for the world.

New Mahindra Thar performs impressively in crash tests with 4 stars and such, considering it's not designed fully enclosed, and is off road and lifestyle oriented. A lesson from TATA and Mahindra to those selling Air Purifiers, 15 inch TVs, and jumbo sized "Internet Inside"/"Brit Dynamic" (whatever the f*** that means) badges:
