Tata Iris vampire class :D

Shocking to know 2013 Indian auto exports have hit over Pak. Rs. 100,000 ( 1 Lakh) Cr.'s or US $ 10 Billion :woot: and growing.

I'm thinking, in purchasing parity terms steel, labour, land electronics, rubber, glass and a huge, virgin, home market acces must be the cheapest in the world. Globally, as the rich get poorer and the poor get richer, cheaper personal vehicles will rule. Not China, Brazil, Turkey or Iran, nor Pakistan; only Bangladesh, Indonesia and Afghanistan may have light yrs. in the future, the right mix to take on Indian auto's Global onslaught.

While Chinese are not up to the mark and and costs are escalating, this thread is evidence Indian auto is far more Global then, say, Indian Apple pie, exports will zoom. Inexpensive Indian vehicles will logically swamp the world.

Not to knock, but it's in the new, post-lib. Manmohanised IT & Telecom, real-estate, infrastructure, oil & gas specially refining, auto and steel tycoon businesses that I see where Pakistan turned off to the left field while India took on the world.
Pakistan wake-up !
Time to buy Indian auto stock.

Sonalika, Cooper have new vehicles coming up; like everone else I guess; BEML has new vehicles on their site, can someone pls. Upload

SPECULATION: TATA MOTORS TO LAUNCH VISTA AND MANZA COMPACT SEDAN WITH NEW DESIGN LANGUAGE BY OCTOBER 2013

Tata-Manza-Diesel-Electric-Hybrid-Concept-2.jpg

Our roving eye in the sky, EarthFusion, is back with some buzz about Tata Motors’ future launches and the design language they will come with. Tata will launch an all new Vista hatchback and the Manza compact sedan by October 2013. Both these cars will feature an all new design language that was first showcased at the 2012 Indian Auto Expo, on the Manza Diesel Hybrid sedan. The design language will therefore get much more sharper than ever before, what with the Manza Diesel Hybrid concept featuring a brand new front end with more edges and creases than any Tata car ever.

The concept showcased at the Auto Expo also exhibited projector lamps. The changes will continue to the interiors as well, with a new dashboard and entertainment console being the major changes in terms of design. Since the Tata Vista hatchback and the Manza sedan are siblings, the new design treatment is expected to filter down to the Vista hatchback as well. Expect both the front end and the rear end of both the cars to get the revised styling. Apart from the revamped looks, expect many new features to be added on the new Vista hatchback. For now, that is pretty much the details we have with us.
Going forward, expect to see test mules of the all new Vista and Manza to begin testing on Indian roads and we’ll keep our eyes peeled out for those. The Manza compact sedan will be slotted in between the Vista hatchback and the full size Manza sedan. The compact sedan segment in the Indian car market is expected to witness major action in the coming months. While Mahindra is readying up the Verito CS for a launch in early 2013, Honda could debut the Brio based compact sedan sometime later that year.
Along with the Manza CS, these launches could take the total number of compact sedans in India to five, from the existing two players: the Tata Indigo eCS and the Maruti Swift Dzire Compact. Coming to the engines front, both petrol and diesel engines will be available in the new Vista and Manza compact sedan. Expect the 1.3 Liter Fiat Multijet diesel engine to be carried over to both models. While Tata does have a smaller, 3 cylinder 1.05 Liter common rail turbo diesel engine, this engine is expected to be used in smaller cars.
