Clearly you dont have the understanding how your country was created, the law which gave uou legal sanctity and the legal proces...the only legal process by which a princely state could join either of the two countries. Had you known, you would have kept quiet. Do read it and save yourself next time being chided upon as silly.

India should accept his Instrument of Accession if Pakistan agrees to the Instrument of Accession of Hari Singh

You willing to give big chunk of your PM home state of Gujrat to Pakistan ?

your so called instrument of Accession over Kashmir is put in the garbage at the highest level of international forum. Its called UN. Hence its a UN recognised "disputed territory".

Let me ask you again, which court you have taken your letter to get it stamped?

Certainly, we witnessed that technological gap on 27th Feb.
IOK, Khalistan, and now Junagarh. Great going Pakistan.
Lol. We've seen the after effects of 27th in your own Parliament recently. Let's not beat a dead horse.

Big? Giving up 8000 square kms in return for 85000 square kms seems like a pretty sweet deal to me.

Indians think its funny that Junagadh will be part of Pakistan. To the contrary the Nawab still enjoys a considerable following there, all his properties and wealth are still there(Govt Control). The legacy of the Babbi Nawabs of Saurashtra region can never be forgotton.

We don't give a damn about the muslim bandwagon that you bring along. The boat for Junagarh has long sailed and there's no way you're getting it back without a full blown war which'll lead to mutual annihilation - the exact reason why both countries are only resorting to border skirmishes without going to an all out war for Kashmir
Knowledge of Law is important. Its Apple and Orange Comparison. Instruments of Accession is just not mere document. It is the only document that legally recognise. In the same vein Gilgit Baltistan cannot get legally merged with Pakistan.

1. There is no "statute of limitations" or equivalent on these instruments of accession. I challenge you pseudo-lawyers to find one.

2. Regardless of whether there is a statute of limitations or not, the decision was actually made LEGALLY at the time. So it's totally irrelevant in a legal sense whether there was a statute or not. The decision was taken legally and legitimately. There is no way to reconcile the current statuses of Junagadh and Hyderabad other than militarily occupied territories that should not be under the control of Delhi.

Great move by Pakistan.

Watch these pseudo intellectuals on pdf educated at some whatsapp rss terror school try to mansplain law to the rest of us now....the same law they go Bollywood gaga over when reminding us of Kashmir's status.

We also know very well what statments are given in your parliament by Pappu and others.

He is the same nawab/raja, a living one actually, just like Hari singh in Kashmir, whose "Instrument of Accession" India like to wave for its justification for Kashmir occupation.

Hope you catch the drift. :D

He should be moved to Pakistan if he's not already here. He's quite the asset.

Lovely and beautiful Pakistani architecture.

It is called Gandhara, a Greek-Buddhist civilization in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Taxilla and Peshawar were built during that time.

Junagarh also is named after the Greeks, Yuna Garh. It makes sense for it to be part of Pakistan also, since the Indo-Greek Gandhara culture was exclusive to Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Nawab of Junagarh, Muhammad Jahangir Khanji, has announced that the Indian-occupied state will soon become a part of Pakistan. He made these remarks while addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Monday.
During the presser, Jahangir Khanji called on the United Nations (UN) to play its part for the freedom of the Junagarh State from illegal occupation.

]He appealed to Prime Minister Imran Khan to become an ambassador to Junagarh, as he did in the case of Kashmir, and help his state liberate from the Indian occupation.

Khanji noted that his ancestors had made an agreement to become part of Pakistan, but Indian forces illegally captured the state. He also thanked PM Khan for including the state of Junagarh as its territory in the new political map.
Nawab Khanji said that Pakistan should also set up a secretariat of Junagarh in Islamabad to bring the princely state closer to Pakistan.

He noted that the people of his state observe November 9 as a black day. On this day in 1947, India had occupied the State of Junagarh, against international law and norms.
Junagarh was a princely state of pre-partition India, and like 550 other independent states, was given a choice to join either of the countries or stay independent. The Nawab of Junagarh decided to join Pakistan.
The past governments had rarely brought up this issue to the fore. However, on August 5, 2020, the incumbent government approved and released a new political map of Pakistan, which included not only the entire Kashmir region but also the forgotten States of Junagarh, Manavadar, and Sir Creek as its territory.

-----------

The right given by the British to some 550 princely states of British India to choose between India and Pakistan was in reality was a decision available to only a handful of princely states because of the mandated principle of contiguity.

Both princely states of Junagarh and Hyderabad (deccan) had failed the test of the principle of contiguity laid down for the partition of British India into India and Pakistan.

Only the state of Jammu and Kashmir fulfilled the principle of contiguity and the princely state of Jammu & Kashmir chose and acceded to India. Case closed.

Pakistan simply does not have any locus standi on either of these three princely states now.

Pakistani politicians are just pulling wool over the eyes of the gullible Pakistani people.

Fake

India needs to give their whole country to Pakistan besides North East Mongoloid looking people who can join China/Burma instead. India has too many dirty habits that Islam can help them progress as a cleaner bunch of people.

Any reason why Pakistan do not reach out to office of UN to claim the territory?

I agree you have a better legal case on Junagarh and Hyd than Kashmir.
